    This is a very smart solution to the embossing process, this could replace very expensive and complex machines. I think it only needs an adaptable tray that helps to insert the card straight into the mechanism and a rotating handle that can be attached to the upper cylinder to facilitate the turning process.

      Can you please help me with my logo? I’m stuck on the part where I join and add a positive .5 mm value for the distance. I can email you my file. Thanks

      it's far to be smart, the gears should be separated and only the plan roller should be printed. Also if you're using another software like 3ds Max, using displacement map would make it easier process in general.

    I love this. Maybe in the future you can design the fusion 360 file so that elongating the embosser is possible so it can emboss full sheets of paper? Choosing a new extrusion distance for the cylinder and the base would work if they were both symmetrical extrusions from the middle. Just a thought

    Hello, very good tutorial. Bought files and straight tested. Some people have same issue as me and that at @4:14 VIEW(point) is rotated to BACK - if you want to select and you are not able to, you have to turn your viewpoint as shown in tutorial (from BACK). Then you will be able to select shapes. I never worked with Fusion and this got me confused as I was selecting object and plane which gave wrong result. Turned viewpoint and problem solved. Thank for a nice model and tool! 🙂

      oh yep, you need to turn the object around, otherwise you can't select the profiles because the object is between the sketch and your cursor hehe

    Better to make the offset in Inkscape and use a displacement map and use a stl where the gear is not directly on the roller.

    Hello, I want to buy, you can modify the length of the rollers with the kit that you sell in cults3d

    • @filar3d
      @filar3d  Год назад

      Even though it’s not specified, you can. The problem is that you don’t have the step files for the parts that hold the rollers, which also needs to be modified for the new lenght. What lenght are you looking for?

      @@filar3d Hello, thank you very much for responding. The length I'm looking for is 230mm. What I'm looking for is to directly flip through an A4 sheet

      I'm the same as asking on cults so I keep asking through that medium or I wait for a response by email.

      Hi 91atk!
      Sometimes Fusion does not properly work when you are zoomed out. Try to zoom in and only click if the lightning is highlighted when you hover over it with the mouse
