Awesome Ryan! Thank you! Montezuma is a perfect little day trip away from Santa Teresa. If you go through Mal Pais and take a left at Mary's you'll get to see Cabuya as well :). There's more there than meets the eye at first. We did a video on Cabuya that might be helpful. Cheers and happy travels! Pura vida
I will be spending several days here next month. Cocolores Is my favorite restaurant. outstanding grilled fish On the beach. I usually stay at Hotel El Jardin. Very reasonable.
Manuel Antonio Park is great! How much time do you have? Exploring the Nicoya Peninsula further is fun too! Check out or videos on Beaches of Nicoya, Tambor, Paquera, Árbol de Dios and Cocalito Falls for some ideas ☺️
Great video but please don’t promote tourism activities that involve touching wild animals! Taking animals from the wild and the illegal pet trade are massive threats to Costa Rican biodiversity and animal welfare
I totally agree with you and do not promote taking animals from the wild. The shot of me holding the howler monkey is at Wild Sun which is an animal rescue that rehabilitates injured animals and returns them to the wild. That monkey is "Mona" and she was just a baby and needed to be held for several hours a day. i was one of the few volunteers that she bonded with and would let me hold her so that was my job, to carry her around like her mother would have. It was a wonderful experience I will always remember! But again I completely agree that taking animals from the wild is deplorable.
I love that you featured Wild Sun Rescue. Jeremy and his team are such wonderful people.

Great video! I haven’t being in Montezuma for 20 years but it looks pretty similar! (Except the new drive/horse option to Cocolito)
Haha yeah I don't think it's changed much in a good way. STMP on the other hand...
Do all the places around there take credit cards?

Is late November a good time to go?
Yes, it’s a great time! Still green but less rainy days. Have fun!
Only thing that you said that is not so accurate is that its cheap, its definitely not cheap
Do you know how many places are named Montezuma in North and South America?? I deduced that you are in the jungle but that didn't help much!
Oh I’m sorry!!! I’ll update the name to include Costa Rica! Great point and thanks for pointing that out! Cheers
