You don't want Qh because you block some of his bluffs (QXhh) When bluffcatching you want to have cards that block their value range and unblock their bluffs

Take effective stack and subtract size of pot and divide by 3 if you're trying to do a turn bet+jam. So..If you stack is 40 and the size of pot is 10 (40-10)/3 = 10 So if you bet 10+10(their call)+10(size of pot) there would be 30 on the river and your stack would be 30 and you would have bet 100% the size of the pot on the turn and 100% the size of the pot on the river.
I actually don't blame poker players for doing this sometimes . Like anything it can still be used as a tell to help the other guy make a correct or wrong decision. For the most part Wes plays a certain way most of the time just like most rec players . Wesley likes to use garrets move of having everyone covered and intimidated. Wes is not Garret and lacks the skill and fear factor the Garret brings so while GMan could manage a deep stack very well Wesley is not at GMans level when it comes to deep stacks .

AA with a heart wants to cbet more often because it has higher equity and is happier to play huge pots on more runouts than AA without the Ah. The non-Ah AA combos are the ones that check more often, because they benefit from waiting for a clean runout before shoveling in money. This is a mistake I see lots of older pros make, because people generally assumed pre-solver era that slowplays should always be hands that need less protection. If anyone disagrees, I'd encourage you to check for yourself in a solver. Solvers aren't perfect, but they're very useful when it comes to understanding general suit theory concepts like this. The solver consistently prefers to cbet value hands like overpairs more often when they have the relevant suit, not less often.
Good point. Actually I think there are plenty of situations where the non flush draw blocking overpairs bet more due to needing more protection but 200bb deep maybe not so much.
LOL A slowplay, BY DEFINITION, is giving your opponent a chance to improve his hand, because you can WIN MORE if his hand improves. No professional, old or young, EVER IN TIME, known or unknown to you, would want to let a flush draw improve while holding a pair, because the most likely way a flush draw improves is to a flush.
