Sadly, aside from counting, there are many ways to 'cheat' in cards; I think this is really a part of the game. As the commentator said, it is the responsibility of the card holder to hide his or her hand. Other than holding or hiding cards, spying on cards is an option. But doing it blatantly rather than working on skill is a weak game. I am sure Skillsrock wouldn't do so well going off of his cards alone. But just the same, I wouldn't want him sitting next to me in a game either.

If you're peaking your cards openly enough where your opponent sitting beside you simply has to move their eyes toward your cards to cheat, you're doing it wrong. That being said, being an actual honest player, you should probably whisper to them to secure their cards better and that their peaks are very open.

It's just their responsibility to hide it from me!" The dude moved his glasses to get a better view, leaned over to peek at his cards, and then swiped thousands of dollars off it. 1: moved property, 2: invaded space, 3: acted dishonestly outside of gentleman's play. If that's "not against the rules" you aren't playing a game, you're getting scammed by being fair. At that point just bring a gun to every poker game and say "well I'm not shooting you, nor am I saying I am! I'm just POINTING IT AT YOU AND TELLING YOU TO FOLD."

Postle used that app to gain that knowledge, no matter how well his opponents protected their hands. The fact that he used outside "help" and/or an electronic device with the express purpose being to gain an *unfair* advantage is what makes his stuff cheating.
The act of leaning slightly to peek your opponent's improperly protected cards, while not completely sportsman-like, involves no app, or actually breaking the rules. There is no unfair advantage involved. Anyone can, in theory, physically lean over to try and see if their opponents are properly protecting their hands, or if they're able to get a peek.
Is it an asshole move? Yes. Will I tell you to cut it out at my games? Yes.
Doesn't make it cheating, or anywhere *close* to Postle's level of douchery.

This is not a charity case or a training session. When you’re playing for live money, it is YOUR responsibility to protect yourself at all times, and no one should get a pass for personal mistakes. That’s the name of the game.

What you have to remember though, is that this is a live stream, and so the casino is not so much interested in good behavior as they are in getting viewers to stay tuned. Because of this, far from keeping the table polite and orderly, the producers actively encourage outrageous displays of temper. This is why Hellmuth gets a pass to threaten to burn a casino to the ground, because they know that shit goes viral and they can cash in with the extra exposure.
There is no such thing as bad publicity as far as they are concerned.

Found this: However, poker is a game where you try to outsmart your opponents. If you’ve warned a player a few times that you can see their cards and nothing changes, you can continue playing. After all, you can’t keep folding for an entire game to accommodate one player. But however often you feel you should warn a player (or fold as a result of seeing their cards) is up to your discretion. It is considered poor poker etiquette to continue playing and exploit their mistake without first notifying them or giving them a chance. The guy got caught being a sleazeball. Now everyone knows not to play with him. That's part of the game as well.

When he grabbed the cards after the hand from the dealer blew my mind that he wasn’t immediately reprimanded!!! Then he proceeded to take a walk and comes back and they don’t change the deck or even say anything!!! 🧠🧨

Doesn’t compare at all to the Postal cheating. One is peaking at someone’s hand that is supposed to be responsible for protecting his cards. The other is text book cheating

Even if looking at your opponents cards isn't illegal, just dirty. He still had something going on with the other guy when he kicked him under the table. So that's straight up cheating.

The commentators definitely saw him peaking those cards. why they didn't say anything just shows they aren't to talk about any form of cheating at this game probably because there is plenty mike pestle shenanigans going on. The only reason they talked about the leg kick is prob because Barry brought it up first. Now I don't think seeing cards in plain view is cheating but if you have to sneakily lean far out of your way to get a peak at somone else's cards than that is for sure 100% cheating.

Everything about this was horrible, him looking at the opponent cards unfortunately its not illegal. But to act like if he bluff him without cheating deserves a slap every time he got up and threw the chips. Now him telling his buddy, I don't know how no one in charged looked into that. No one should ever get on this again if a player is allowed to reach over a grab cards away from dealer and walk away with them

Even though its not ILLEGAL YET, Spying cards cheats the other 7 players. Its like noticing the shuffler is marking cards and using that advantage without telling anyone. Knowing 2 dead cards every hand provides you with a HUGE advantage, especially on flush boards when you know the nuts are in the muck and nobody else does. There is no skill in peeking, it just gives you a secret unfair advantage. It attracts bad karma and makes you dislike yourself for doing it.
