Crazy. First the service is down during Days of Play. Now they nerf points. They are bracing for the months of laughter they will have with the failure of Concorde.
Is it just me or is Sony becoming more and more of a joke of a company each year that goes bye? For the last past 3YRS it’s been nothing but bad news every time you hear their name, but yet they’re still making a lot of money and now Black Myth Wukong just help them out even more. Jesus it’s like they really have a guardian Angel that keeps saving this company and it pisses me off as a PlayStation player because Sony deserves to lose money and receive massive criticism for their lack of games.
It's true, but since the mayority of console playes tend to be casual gamer, means that they don't care about these shitty tactics Sony's been pulling off, and will keep buying their product 🤷
Why shouldn't we?. You cannot just roll out an application and have it constantly not work, disappear for months on end and reduce it's usefulness arbitrarily. It's broken yet again this month. If Sony actually had a useful, working support service that were capable of fixing any single thing that'd be different but they're useless.
Playstation stars is literally taking away the only way I earn points. I rarely buy digital games unless they are digital only and look really really good. Gives me no reason to care about it anymore
I'm one of those people saying "I really only play single player games, so why would I cough up the ridiculous amount of money for a service that has decayed in value exponentially as the price goes up?". I dropped it when the tiered program started and only jumped in when they had a 30% off sale, only to watch the games I would have been interested in playing drop out one after another.
I forgot this was a thing till I got an Email that some of my points where about to go. Went in, put what I could into some credit and once this outrage calms I am likely to forget again.
Guys....Microsoft is an American company who has bigger divisions than gaming. XBox has never lost in any way to PS because of PS exclusives. It has always been their lack of Asian studios and games that has set them back from being on Nintendo and Sony's level. I can't believe this is not realized by gamers, but hopefully at least Microsoft knows this. And I imagine, most of that is simply the logistics of language, etc.
I did canceled my subscription last year cause the lack of good product. It's annoying being forced to pay the subscription just to play online, playing online should be free.
Ridiculous they are going this route with how expensive PS+ has been these last couple of years. Should at least be removed off for those who have PS+ Essential and provide it to those that have Extra or Premium.

I never knew about the stars program but that is not why I have PSPlus, I refuse to buy games anymore. Since I don't own them (long gone are the PS2/PS1 days) I may as well have access to them. I really do like PSPlus. It is worth it to me.
Really? You can earn points every month for just booting up one of the free monthly games and even just booting up other games that are multiplayer or genre specific depending on the campaign. I just booted up 4 games without playing and collected 200 points. I’ve redeemed probably like $100 in credit so far which isn’t too bad but it’s not hard. Not to mention when you buy games from sales…
The only multiplayer game I play is Vigor and don't need ps+ for that game. I still gotta have my ps+ subscription though because I need the free games. I need them. The classics catalog, the monthly games, all of them. That's why I complain when they take games off the service. It's still worth it but for how much longer idk. i had PS Plus since i bought my PS4 in 2017 but i ended in 2022 and i had it for so long cause when i bought my PS5 i had to buy atleast 1 years PS plus and ended up getting 2 years at half the price and yes i Only Play Single Player games and i really HATE that Sony Locked Game Save Backups for PS5 games just to FORCE ppl to buy PS Plus for Cloud Storage and ppl are so Dumb no one said a thing

Eh I haven't used PS+ for a good couple years now. 99% of my games are single player jrpgs and the only game with online on my PS4 I enjoyed playing was MH World and as for future multiplayer games I'd consider there's only MH Wilds tbh and if I was to get that I may not even get it on PS5 anyway as I don't have a PS5 and my PC is about 10 years old now so it needs an upgrade so I've been debating going PC and Nintendo only as 99% of all games I want (especially the series I like the most) have been going to PC and even Switch day 1 as well as PS4 on top of the PS5 (there's no real exclusives to PS5 that I want immediately...Demons Souls, FFXVI, and FF VIIR Rebirth are about the only 3 games I'd consider playing on it and I can play 2 of those if I feel like via my bro's PS5 (and have been playing them there...almost done both XVI and VIIR Rebirth, just got sidetracked with a game I wanted more than it right now (Legend of Heroes Trails through Daybreak)). The ONLY real reason I'd pick up PS5 at this point is for physical releases (as I prefer buying physical so if all consoles go digital only I'd definitely be ditching consoles for PC) and to play my PS4 games if my PS4 decides it's had enough (as if I get a PS5 it'd be the disc version, not digital only version). Right now my main gaming console is either PS4 or Switch (depends on what game I'm playing as I'll buy some on PS4 and others on Switch if I feel it'd be more fun as a handheld experience (Octopath Traveler 1 and 2 for example I play on Switch and I'd like to have played Visions of Mana there too but no switch version so I'm stuck with PS4 digital version since PS4 version is digital only (BS by the way...if you're gonna release it on the console make it available digital and physical especially if you're a big company like SE...they don't have the excuse of being a small company like and Indie studio to justify not giving it physically...hell if they want to charge an extra $5 (should be more than enough to get a fair enough discs produced for the amount of people that'd go physical) fine I'd live with that to have the disc option).

It’s cheaper if u pay the year option 80 dollars a year equals 6.67 a month, if your spending 12 dollars a month that 144 dollars I rather pay 135 upfront to get a year of ps plus extra than spend 12 dollars each month
