Your 100% right. The most important time in an engine’s life is the first 2000 miles.
I agree
you had me at hating on the left - love it man!!! I just received my 2023 AT4X - i'll def. be following your model. SUBSCRIBED!
5W-30 is the recommended oil for your vehicle 2.7 Turbo not 0W-20.......... Just saying
You're right to do that I do mine on every new vehicle that I've ever bought at 1,000 to 1500 miles no matter what brand to get that factory oil out of there so it could start with some good oil that I'll be using through its lifetime.👍 PS especially on Direct injection engines for sure.
yes sir !!
Its smart if you plan on keeping it. I always change after 1000 mile break in. 500 might be a little soon I think I would wait till 750 or more and not over 1000. I also like to use a Magplug. I can say there is always some stuff on the magplug everytime.
Thanks for the video. I just bought a 23 AT4 day before yesterday! (6.2) Awesome truck and like your video! Thanks
Just bought mine exactly the same a 2023 at4 in black with the 6.2 💪🏼
Video starts at 5:35
Democrats have always been evil. You got a subscribe from me. I also bought a Denali, but I think of the AT4 sometimes. Idk how you got 14.5 mpg, I got 23.5 in my 5.3L
Can I use the same filter and oil on my GMC Elevation 2023 5.3 motor I’m at 1450 miles
I believe 5.3 and 6.2 take same filter
Your 0/20 W oil is just as thin as the factory oil in your engine. Some Ram owners have found their Hemi’s ticking w 0/20W oil. Drive safe.
I wonder if the high rate of GM lifter failure has anything to do with the 0w20? I have chosen to run 5w30 in mine so we will see as time will tell.
what year is yours, she runs good with 5w30? I was thinking to go with 5w30 my next oil change .
@@Garage28_28 I'm in Wisconsin so I do 0w20 in winter and 5w30 in summer.
20 weight? 😂@@Bangkok-ik1fp
good video, but yeah, you were "rambling" for the first 2 minutes! :-)
Do you change the oil drain plug gasket?
It would have been nice to see taking off of the oil filter as well.
The newer cars use thinner oil do to the tighter tolerances in modern engines.
I agree with an early first oil change.
You need a oil funnel
Great video and you're right about everything
I did my First Oil change at 4,500 and it came out super black ! Looked very dirty 😳
Direct injection 🤷🏻♂️ , I say change the oil at 3k on this engine
@@Garage28_28 I sure will man thanks! I thought 4,500 was still early because they say I can go up to 7k sheeshhh 🤣🤣🤣
@@joseRodriguez-pk9ld thy don’t care about you bro , 😂
Take care of your truck
@@Garage28_28 good looking out for the rest of us bro I appreciate it 💯😎🤙
Was your engine a diesel?
Why you mix politics with oil change?
Because I can 🤷🏻♂️
What did I said? Something about democrats are bunch of communist scumbegs?
It's called "rambling" in the first 2 minutes! LOL
who cares...ITS THE TRUTH!!
Because politicians are as dirty as used oil
Politics. Yay. 🙄
I don't think he likes Mary Barra, GM CEO.
oh stop
