Yes. You can move the text layer even the camera is moving - just track it first.

This is just a test to figure it out. Had trouble using high res at the tracking stage. But looks like I’ll be able to do what I had planned.
Hello Hugh, such great work, thank you. I am trying to do call outs in 360 video like you did here at 12:27. Do you use a 2D or 3D VR Comp edit for that? I use a 2D edit and tracker, but the call out it warped and distorted on the final render.
What do you do when you get the 'unable to acquire rendered frame'?
On After Effects tracking? I will usually restart my computer - it prob mean you run out of memory - I have 128G memory BTW for lots of CG works.
@@hughhou Hi Hugh! I've gotten the same error, with both canvas 360 and VR comp editor. I have 32GB of RAM and it's not enough I suppose. Should I try to increase virtual memory to get 64G in total? Thanks
I'm trying to figure out the thing you said on 14:19 about analizing the entire 360 scene. (it's been 5 hours of suffering)
Because when it finished analizing I wanted to track the text OUTSIDE of the default shot, so I rotated the camera but tracking points didn't change at all - the shot changed but not the points.
Please help me, I can't use Canvas 360 in AE newer than 2019!!!
Edit 1: so the day passed and I found the solution, thank god.
All you need to do is cancel analizing, then rotare the camera how you prefer and click "Analise" in 3D camera tracker (not in the VR comp Edit!)
EDIT 2: so the mounth passed and IT DOESN'T WORK WHEN YOU TRACK THE SCENE, SO HOW DO I ROTATE THE SHOT AND TRACK THE PART THAT I NEED WTF
Hi man thx for the tuto. l have a question, did you export the cam to another program to render extruded text or you did it with element 3d and if it is element 3d how did you mange it?

Hello friend! Can i export this video by VR and this traking text save ? or traking text save only if i export video by fullHD , 4К or over format (no VR).
This is for VR not 2d - so you track the text in VR360 space.

Which step of saving? You render out directly from After Effects - the dynamic link is buggy in the current version of PR.

It is FREE - it comes with After Effects and Premiere.
How long does a Mavic fly with gopro fusion?
Safe flight time for full charge Mavic is 10 minutes. But I will strongly suggest to take your bird back when it hit 30% low battery warning.
Probably a silly question but when ive finished and want to render it, the file is only the 1080 view and not the 360 footage and I cant figure out how to export it in 360.
With CANVAS? Did you want to all the way to the rendering part? You need to use the render feature to generate the 360 version in After Effects render sequence.
CreatorUp! The render in project in 360 canvas exports strange formats like a box. How do I exported in the same format that comes out of the fusion? I really appreciate your help cheers

Is it around 14 mins into the next video? You mention to render it in after effects then bring into premier. Is there a way to render the 360 footage with the text from after effects and still maintain the fill 360 and not the 1080 view. My problem is that it only renders the 1080 view.@@hughhou
Nice one Hugh! Thanks so much! Please tell me what workaround have you found for reframing 360 videos in CC2019 since GoPro VR Plugins are no longer supported in this version of Premiere and AE? Looking forward for your input, would help so much. For now, I keep installed also the CC2018 version just to use the reframing plugins but I dont see this as a long-term solution. Cheers! You can use AE, the other one is optional. I did demo AE workflow as well :)
