    How can you track stereoscopic 360 video? And how you can place 3d objects exactly to your 3d 360 space? Also I wanna know how to make digital sets (matte paint) to your stereoscopic 360 video. How you do the camera projection etc. like traditional 2d flat video projects? There are zero tutorials for this kind of work and my brain goes twist when I think how I would to do all that.

      I will plan those tutorials - You can track 3D and link left and right eyes - but yes, it require a tutorial to show how - it is not that easy to understand

    Great video! I'm having this issue where the VR Comp Editor is adding a seam line to my 3D model. It's only there when I go to the Output and is almost like I can see the cube map edges. Have you had this issue before?

      I think you solve it :) Good tips I need to watch out for that too. I have a new way to work on AE 2021 BTW which will be 3D VR! I will make that tutorial soon. This is olddddd

    Hi Hugh, thanks for the tutorial. To do it in 3D would that be using their other app canvas stk? I’d like to integrate 3D objects into my VR180 footage. Is all static video/pictures, no tracking needed. Do you think I still need a plug-in to do it?

      You don't need element 3D or but you need Canvas STK not Canvas 360 - as it is 3D - have you try Resolve Fusion for my VR180 tutorial? It is much easier than this old one for what you trying to do. Maybe worth to take a look at least.

      @@hughhou thanks! Yes, I've seen the tutorial from Resolve Fusion, thanks for creating it. However, I already have an Adobe license and I wasn't thinking to pay 300 $ more for another software. I'll try their free version and see how it is.

    Hey Hugh! Does this work with stereoscopic 360 video as well or just mono?

    • @hughhou
      @hughhou  4 года назад

      I will make a stereo version of it soon. Right now only mono

    Hi Hugh! First, thanks for all your tuts, they have been very helpful. I was wondering about your system specs. While following this tutorial I ran into some render crashes. I will be upgrading some components on my PC soon, but would love to know what a pro like you is using for hardware. Thanks and keep up the good work!

    Hey Hugh, it seems like Canvas 360 is no longer being developed - it looks like it never got updated past Ae 2019. What tools would you currently suggest for adding Element, Particular and 3D layers in After Effects for 360 and 180 video?

    • @hughhou
      @hughhou  Год назад +1

      I will just use After Effects or DaVinci Resolve: ruclips.net/video/8u7GY436_Jw/видео.html

      Well, I meant the one in this same video, from start to second 00:09, but I guess I could get to that effect with that tutorial right? Thanks for all your tutorials :)

    Hi Hugh, Thanks for the tutorial - as canvas 360 doesn't output to equirectangular, how did you get the output back to premiere in a equirectangular form?

    • @hughhou
      @hughhou  5 лет назад

      It does output equirectangular!!

      @@hughhou apparently I don't get that option (still in trial mode) - have you tried using plexus 3 in combination with canvas360?

    Hi Hugh, do you have a tutorial for placing the 3D model instead of a extruded text? Cheers mate

    • @hughhou
      @hughhou  6 лет назад +4

      Is the same workflow like the X wing I did. But I should make a update one with 3D model instead. I want to make one with Stereo 3D instead of just Mono to up the difficulty

  • @JSGS90

    It is possible with 180 3D footages?

    • @hughhou
      @hughhou  4 года назад

      3D you need to track left and right eyes - so I am still trying to figure out a better workflow on this.

    Hi Hugh,
    It's so similar with your tutorial but I couldn't make sth like this: ruclips.net/video/osaLsi_DzfU/видео.html the beginning of the video, You are getting inside of the logo. For example, If I don't want to track anywhere, how couldn't make it? How could I get inside and leave back a word or object like this?

    • @hughhou
      @hughhou  5 лет назад

      Wow, that video you share look good for the intro. So it does not track at all as you said. It is just a similar Mask inside of the O - the rest it is just 3D camera movement with After Effects - pretty straight forward.
