what do you mean by "him not giving AI any credit?" He said that he loves "disproving" or arguing against the misconception that robots will take over the world. But as he said, he is a professor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the University of WInnipeg and the University of Tokyo. So evidently, he is passionate about these topics, and I wouldn't be surprised if he believes the AI will play a greater and greater role in our lives in years to come, even if he believes that the stereotypical, physical robots you see in the movies will not be commonplace in the future. I think a huge percentage of highly intelligent individuals nowadays are trying to establish careers related to AI, as many of them see it as the future.
@@JohnSmith-cg3cv The 'Robots are taking over!' idea is based on the false premise, that intelligent information is appearing out of nothing. Machine learning is a completely other concept. It is still called 'AI' but the original idea, that there is 'evolution' and thus emergence of intelligent information out of thin air, is false - as physics already knows.
@@ferninthehouse Well, do they, or it's just a non-intentional/intentional input on the creator side. Is it real awareness or simulated awareness, we as human even, haven't understand how awareness and consciousness emerged. Plus if an AI ever go "aware" they can't destroy the world, one thing AI lacked is relevance realization, they can pickup the information for solving a problem, but without human pointing out the relevant information they will run a large amount of processing power, which will guarantee them to slow down or possibly have an error if the data is too big. An AI can't conquer the world by itself, it needs a human to help them out.

When someone is so smart we expect him to be awkward and closed off but honestly I love him. I just got a crush on him just by this video. He is smart, a nice mind, and have passion.
I have a similar story to what he told at the end of the video. When I was four our only tv broke, so our neighbor let us borrow her extra tv that had lost its color over the years and now all of its images were black and white. This was very frustrating for me as I was used to the colors. It was bugging me so much that I started fixating on the buttons, at the time I didnt know English but I knew a few words, and one of them was color. There was a button on the tv that said color, so I pressed it and the tv swapped from black and white to colored images. I was stoked, but the neighbor lady was even more so as I just "fixed" her television. She was an OBGYN doctor that personally delivered my younger brother a few years after.
This guy is actually a “genius” in a well rounded way. I’ve never seen this word apply to a real person this much, at least judging from a 10 min interview.
Unless these were pre-scripted questions I feel like brown-shirt lady is insecure about her own intelligence. If this guy wasn't so humble and down to Earth those questions were leading straight to a defensive response from her... you can almost see in her eyes how much she wanted him to respond yes to being smarter than her. Well avoided by him.
Don’t agree - it’s true that intelligence is almost impossible to quantify and there are different ways to determine someone’s intelligence. Being exceptional with numbers and code is not the be all and end all of intelligence - for instance, this guy might be really bad at understanding art or abstract concepts - he might not be as emotionally intelligent, though he does speak well with strangers. Intelligence isn’t just about numbers and quantitative data.
I wish someone asked if he has above average intelligence in other fields besides technology. Is he a genius in general? Does he excel in Math or History but just prefer technology? I think that would be very interesting to know
I think I’m impressed for his happiness he presents . People can be that kind of happy and confident when fit in a role with passion and capability at the same time

i screamed when he gave the girl his info to "connect" LMAOOOOO 😂
I guess the only thing I share with him is we both lack partners
😂😂😂
He seems like a genuinely great guy, love to see it
And he’s also emotionally intelligent! Awesome to see
He totally skirted around the are you rich question
which tells you the answer lmao
The younger girl's dating question was deeper than Marianas, I had to pause. She's already that genius she said she's too young to be
What???
@@madeliefynana babes, 94 people understood what I was saying... What is deep? The Marianas trench. The little girl's question was philosophical => deep. Deep question is deeper than the trench.
@@sisakhoza4739 ... You were serious? I thought you were joking.
Imagine saying "How does your dating life look like." As a philosophical question instead of questions like "What do you think about people putting people with a high IQ on a pedestal" or "What is your view on life." or "Does high IQ/intelligence really matter? Or is knowledge and wisdom more important?" ..."how does your dating life look like" is a very deep and philosophical question???? Are you just a romantic??
"Do people act differently when they know about your high IQ? And how does that affect your life? Does it bring any hardship with making friends or finding a partner?" Would have been deeper and more multi leveled. Life is not ONLY about dating...
Bruh as someone who is pretty much aromantic and I have literally 0 interest in dating someone, that question isn't that deep... IF he were aromantic... what purpose does that question have... he would be like "Oh, I don't date, not my thing"
@@madeliefynana I read until I saw "Read more". Please heal 🙏🏾, and no offense
@@sisakhoza4739 Loool. Basically for your simple mind: Life isn't about just dating and if he were aromantic, then the answer would have been easily "I don't date." Your view on what's philosophical is very surface level.
You did him dirty putting dating question next to the shot where he gives his number to the girl ;P
how. if anything that makes it better
At 4:36 pause and look at his eyes after he says "that's one of the misconceptions i love to address". 😳
What about it?
Bro just looking at him Ik he smart af
I don't think it's weird that he hasn't dated, just by the fact that he's only 19
He really just described my dream life. I hope that it keeps going well for him and maybe in a few years I could be just a tiny fraction like him
Tanmay’s kindness made me smile the whole video. Would have appreciated him answering questions on emotional intelligence. He seems to be genuinely happy.
Props to the editor at 4:31 lmao
Oh no😂
What did he do?
@@billgiovani his eyes went red for a split second

What a refreshing human being. Someone deemed a genius at a young age, with an immerse amount of pressure im sure, but he’s radiating humility. I love that!
I am more impressed by his attitude and passion than by his accomplishments. I love how nuanced his answers are. I'd love to have a friend like him, he's someone you can truly learn a lot from.
3:33 I love how his laugh sounds intelligent too
That bezos musk laugh
it’s giving: if sheldon cooper had a nemesis, a really wholesome and open minded and mindful genius.
this guy is so nice and expressive and positive! bring him back
4:35 ”Robots are not taking over“ he says while his eyes turn red like a terminator‘s😂
This guy seems smart, he is definitely going places
Man's already been to places
And many things
The editor calling him out when he gave that girl his number so sweet
Rizz
as a struggling computer science student, this was so hard to watch without wanting to drop out
How is your github doing these days?
It's so unique to see a genius like this. A genius that is well-adjusted and happy!
You really did him dirty to show him giving his number to that woman 😂💀
I love Jubilees editing yall are so creative 😂
As someone studying Computer Science, I love hearing from people like this! Such a fascinating episode ❤ Thanks Jubilee!
same, he motivate me in some way
I wish I had a passion in life like he does for coding! How much happier would we all be if we genuinely loved our jobs like this guy?!
It’s so great to see someone so intelligent *and* so accomplished who isn’t full of themselves. This guy is a breath of fresh air
I think there’s this stereotype that geniuses are often really weird and eccentric and don’t have many friends. That’s not the case for this dude at all. My guy seems like a really sweet, humble and open guy who loves helping others. Honestly these interviews have really opened my eyes to a lot of different ppl and i really love watching them
He is really intelligent - you can tell by him not giving AI any credit.
what do you mean by "him not giving AI any credit?" He said that he loves "disproving" or arguing against the misconception that robots will take over the world.
@@JohnSmith-cg3cv As long as the AI doesn't somehow become self aware and sentient, I think we're okay.
@@gummy5862 hate to break it to you but there is already AI pushing that boundary.
Jubilee, just an idea! Go ahead and invite this guy on a nectar video if he is up for it (perhaps even w the green top girl he asked out 👀), clearly as mentioned all around the comments, everyone loves this guy! His enthusiasm and friendliness would make fantastic content.
YESS OMGGG
The girl in brown came in with an agenda 😂😂😂. Probably was offended by the idea of meeting a proclaimed "genius", I think she's just salty 😅😅.
People are so blatantly jealous of rich and intelligent people. It’s pretty sad
No. She said she works with kids. She probably deals with kids all day long that doubt themselves. By asking the questions she asked she can use the answers he gave to help guide them on their journey.
Lucky for her the person she's speaking to seems like a pretty nice guy.
thats me! actually some of my questions were given to me by jubilee themselves, but others i asked purely because i was curious!
@@SennaTomizuka if I’m being honest . At the beginning I thought you came in a little confrontational (I may have been influenced by some comments). But throughout the video I realized you didn’t seem to be upset or jealous or anything. You were just asking some harder hitting questions.
I think you were posed as the opposer , but you performed that duty gratuitously and in a kind way.
My previous comment about people being blatantly jealous of rich people doesn’t apply to you.
Video editor: So how creative do you want the edit to be?
Jubilee: Yes
He should definitely make time for cutie in green. I know its easier to focus on work but women make life so much more fun.
the way he pulled that card on her....hit her with the "if you wanna connect later" here's my card. my boi!
I would ask him what does he think about the political and economic state of the world
@4:37 The editor knew exactly what they were doing. Touché!
HE'S SO LOVELY!!!! It's so refreshing
Wow. He is so cute and exuberant. I love his outlook. And I can actually relate to coding for fun.
Loved that touch at 4:37 y'all added, I almost missed it
When someone is so smart we expect him to be awkward and closed off but honestly I love him. I just got a crush on him just by this video. He is smart, a nice mind, and have passion.
He is so intelligent, presents himself well and a nerdy. Any girl would be lucky to have him as a bf.
he's not just a genius, he's a VERY PASSIONATE one and I truly appreciate that a lot
They made his eyes red at the robot questions😭
😂😂😭
1:27 it’s so funny how fast his face goes straight when she said she dropped out of coding classes
Friends that give you birthday cakes in the most beautiful programming language ever created (Rust) are keepers
He should do 24x86161x0.97262 without a calculator
It's great to see him being as humble as he is. He seems so genuine. :)
4:37 well played editor...well played.
This guy is actually a “genius” in a well rounded way. I’ve never seen this word apply to a real person this much, at least judging from a 10 min interview.
I need to be friends with this dude super humble and friendly
4:35 i love how his eyes turned red during that statement lol it's the subtle things that make me chuckle =p
Glad i saw this fr shes kinda speaking too fast though
She baiting fr fr
I didn't perceive her like that at all. I found her questions insightful.
I didn’t pay much attention, but those are regular questions 🌚 y’all are seeing too much into things🌚
People can be that kind of happy and confident when fit in a role with passion and capability at the same time
I hope people didnt miss Tanmay did give his personal card to the young woman. So what he said to the teen girl that he hadn't tried but would look for a date in a couple of years, that sounds very probable UwU
