At the moment, I'm working on the creation of cars' soundbanks. Finding an onboard of the C3 R5 with a high sound quality is incredibly hard, but I noticed the sound of your onboard around 8:30 is great! I was wondering if we could somehow collaborate... If you could send me a full onboard (possibly with a few second in which the car idles, and also a good rev limiter sound would be awesome), it would be very useful to me, and I could try to make a good sounding mod for that beautiful Citroen. Thanks in advance! :)
Cool vid. That R5 looks like a ton of fun. What made you decide to use 10 numbers for turn severity? If you ever get a break from running with the big dogs, you should come run an event in the US.
Hey Brian, thanks for the comment! The grading change from 1-6 to 1-10 actually came after a conversation I had with Andreas Mikkelsen when I randomly got sat next to him on the flight to Sardinia this past year. I asked him what he wished he would have known at the beginning of his career, and he said he wished he would have had more resolution in his corner gradings to be more accurate with less syllables instead of using ++ / - - so often in his notes. So Alex and I talked about it and decided the next rally to just go for it and it's been a huge help. Still a lot of work to do on my. notes but we're off to a good start! 👍💪
