- Опубликовано: 5 окт 2024
- Quentin talks about his amazing fans, living in Tel Aviv, learning Hebrew, his fifteen-month-old son, writing the book “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” after making the movie, some of his favorite novelizations, and he attempts to guess old movies by only hearing the description on the back of the VHS box.

Hey fun fact: You're actually sharing the kid's name! Ari means lion in Hebrew and this was the name of Daniella's grandfather. I'm guessing they decided to make his name more international and maybe - although he's denying it - Decaprio was indeed part of the reason.

Looking forward to reading the novel. Love the fact he tries to make us feel as if we were on the 70s. OUATIH's soundtrack came with old late 60s radio commercials. It does make you feel as if it was 1969

What you said is how I feel. Joe Rogan interview was great. Love hearing him talk and his knowledge of film history.
The cinema knowledge that Quentin has is downright astounding. His passion for his art form is a delight to see and it really comes thru in his movies

Interesting factoid: THE SWITCH, a 70s novel by Elmore Leonard, is advertised in the back of Tarantino’s ONCE novelization. Elmore Leonard wrote RUM PUNCH which Tarantino made into JACKIE BROWN. Both of those Leonard novels have the characters of Ordell and Louis (Sam Jackson and De Niro).
AND, when Tarantino was a teenager, he got caught for shoplifting THE SWITCH paperback from a store.
