Love your fabrics & patterns & have made several quilts using your fabrics, & patterns my first was your block of the month 2020 using Balboa but I have ordered more since then. Shipping so awful right now but I have developed quite a stash since I started sewing quilts again in 2019, I used to help my Mother, by cutting her fabric for her & piecing together as she got older & was so hard for her to cut & piece, also hand quilt as she got older. She made all our quilts as I was growing up & hand quilted them she passed in 2014 at age 91 & when I make quilts I always feel a close connection to My Mom. Love your podcasts. I am 74 & I have a friend who machine quilts them for me very reasonable priced this is my me time.

Happy birthday Sherri. You guys are so blessed to be able to work together. My daughter is an awesome artist. And I love pattern design. This kind of relationship would be a dream of mine. But at this point, she is so busy with work, and her own things there would be no way for her to fit in fabric design. Maybe someday before I get to old. Ya never know. Hugs to you both and thank you so much for sharing again with us. I love your honesty and fun and just being open to share the love you both have with the whole process of this craft. You bring us all joy.

Now to find the first video that caught my attention and enjoy previous videos. I always liked Moda colors. I haven't seen their fabric much in past 10 years. It always has red, aqua, green and was always cheerful.

Looking at your quilts here I realized that I still have some of this fabrics that I saved....I do have some of each of you collections but that first one was so special and I am saving it! Thanks for so many great fabrics and always new patterns that I also have several.

I love your podcasts! Y’all are by far my favorite fabric designers. I’ve just recently found y’all. Love your color pallets and flower designs. It’s amazing to me that if I were to try and design fabric, it would be what y’all create. Everything you create is right up my alley. It would be fun, on a future podcast, to show us all the fabric lines you’ve created.
I’ve never made a quilt before but I’m planning to make one with Seashore Drive. I love love love that fabric collection and I’m looking forward to it’s release. Since finding y’all, I’ve ordered some Happy Days and Balboa fabric precuts. I really think that Balboa and Seashore Drive would make something beautiful if combined. I’ve made lots of bags and other small things that I’ve quilted.
Keep designing beautiful fabric and Sherri throw a few of your flower doodles in there too. Doodles can make beautiful fabric! Thank you so much for sharing your life with all of us. We truly are blessed.
PS - Any beginner patterns that you could recommend for a first quilt?
I bought the Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern from Sherri just recently. I know I’ll have to wait to make it until I’ve learned more about quilting. I just love how that quilt looks. So pretty. 💕☀️🧵

I love the fabrics you make. My favourite line you have made has to be Desert bloom but my favourite fabric was midnight soar from creekside. I wish I had bought it before it was sold out!

Suggestions when you talk about(and I love you going back in time)a collection could you maybe show a picture with of course a banner saying no longer available. Maybe on 10 year anniversary you could do a line that is a remake of all your favorite fabrics.
Do you have a favorite color you lean toward? I am drawn to good greens and either pale lemon yellow or golden yellows. Excited to see the new collection on Friday.
