I feel like its important to point out the utility typal lands for creatures are not a thoughtless include, especially in a noncreature heavy deck like otters, they are more of a colorless utility land than a blue source.
Yeah i dont think it was a good idea to put 2 of the villages in this deck considering the double blue spells and constant struggle to have right mana. Definitely much better in a threshold deck or a frog deck though
Cuteness overload! Wow, this set looks fun. It has one of my favorite set symbols ever as well, but only in gold and silver. The common black one looks garbage for some reason. Sadness on the stack, as I would have slammed the white rare and forced tokens, because level up was one of my all-time favorite mechanics and I love messing around with tokens. Okay, back to the draft. EDIT -> Mabel, nooooo!!! EDIT -> Nooooo! Would have had Fountainport with the rare that gives tokens +2/+2. I cry for the deck I could have had. 😭 Didn't watch the games, as the deck could not be further from the stuff I like to see, but I am looking forward to seeing more of this set! Going into these videos completely blind, because it is my favorite way of experiencing new sets.
Watched another video where an U/R drafter got run over by lots of fliers (with U/W and B/W being bats and birds seems like this could be something you need to have a plan for). After this draft where we wound up passing on the reach options available I'm curious to see if something similar might happen. Seems like you got rewarded for sticking to your guns and not getting tempted by Mabel, but I think it's a mistake to view her as just a Mouse card - the equipment she makes seems very strong even if your mouse count isn't super high.

The pathmaker seems bad, 4/2 body means it always trades down and it is pretty expensive.
