Congrats, better late than never. I ordered mine last month, I was told a 6 month wait. I heard things was a lil faster now. I went with the orange & 1LT as it won’t be my daily, I got a 🐈 for that but I plan to drive the c8 just as much. What color & trim did you go with?

Possibilities will be endless I’m sure in the next few years with all the new models. Hope you get to enjoy yours too faster than you expect 🏎️💨

Just went to medium size dealer in my area in southern indiana. (Kenny Kent Chevrolet) hope you get a nice thanksgiving surprise then!

I mentioned in your other video about telling you about drift events we go to. Completely forgot lol. But next event is on July 15 (i think) at Willow Springs. August is another huge event at Apple Valley Speedway. Definitely an exciting experience. My husband always gives ride alongs as well as other driver there.
Whats not a super car. Any Mustang, any Camaro, any Porch . What makes a corvette special is it leagues above those cars and that's what makes ta Corvette super.
The reason I wouldn't call it a super car is because the title is taken by the white Corvette my Uncle (and Aunt) owns. My Grandfather (his father) gave it to him (when he passed) and it's the most generous and wonderful thing he did for his son.
If you can get the car, you absolutely should treat yourself! Naturally aspirated engines are slowing fading out of production for most manufacturers and car purists are going to be wanting them. Maybe you can go to the Porsche Driving experience in California and test drive one of those cars to the limit!
The Lt1 is lighter and supposedly the Fastest of the 3 trims offered for the C8 Stingray! ;) But I understand if you want a safer vehicle with its blind spot monitoring system then yeah 2LT is the way to go!
I did put a deposit for this American Masterpiece, but I settled for BMW M550 because I have kids. I love my BMW M550, but still thinking of getting at C8 at some point.
If you want to drive 100mph go to the track. Only racers drive on the track. The car is practical . U are wrong the car is for anyone who can afford it. Heck Joe Biden has a corvette. How many times u use the back seat of your car. U can have a second car if u want to fetch luggage. U are wrong with your comments.
Any sources to point us toward to validate this? I know there have been issues but how many out of 100k+ produced and is that an acceptable % based on other similarly placed vehicles?
@@iampartsched There is literally no conclusive way to know without GM's internal stats. All I know for sure is my recently produced 2023 went to crap after 371 babied miles, and is waiting for a new trans with no ETA after 3 weeks, I suppose because they're on backorder which implies to me there's a considerable amount of cases. And the only other thing I know for sure is the number of people reporting similar issues on forums like corvetteforum increase almost every day.
@@badcholesterol that has to be quite the setback and so early in your ownership. I have seen examples in both that forum and mid engine but they amount in the 10’s. Many parts are on back order (high wings, carbon fiber, black wheels) so I don’t subscribe to the back order being validation. If I read correctly the tremec dtc is used in other vehicles as well so I wish we would know the underlying issue. I know previous years had pan upgrades but still seeing it in ‘23 is of concern as I have a ‘23 as well. But even if there are 1000, that is less than 1% failure rate. You are right, we will never know full numbers so we can speculate on both sides. I hope your situation is resolved timely so you can enjoy the miles and smiles worry free.

60000 for the hardtop and 72000 for the convertible I wish I could find it for those numbers out here in Connecticut.

I don’t think the two is in the same league. If you want to save a little money get a Supra or spend more and have more fun then get a C8.
