Every time you upload my friend and I make bets with each other about whether or not you're going to mention Outlander or Scotland in some way. I'm not ashamed.
You know what? Whenever I watch these kind of videos I get so anxious. I think about the book I'm reading, the books I have in my to-read list and then I'm like OMG I need to read that one so badly too. I want to read this and read that. And I'm currently reading one already. It leaves me breathless. Ok.
Emily Petzke - Fairest is a NOVELLA its Levana's Story, plus it will have an Excerpt of Winter book 4 of the Lunar Chronicles.. & it will be Released Jan 26..
It is freaking amazing indeed! The first time I read it was like 5yrs ago and I still regularly read snippets off the book for comforts sake cause it's gonna break your heart big time...and you've got 2 more books to go in the series!
I've had outlander and cinder on my TBR for a while, and everyone keeps talking about how amazing they are. I have to read them ASAP! The Bronze Horseman sounds incredible, I'm going to have to look into it for sure.
I loved this video, I'm very tempted by Outlander! I picked up White Hot Kiss because of you - and I loved it, so I always trust your judgement now! Unrelated to the books, but I love your hair in this video Sasha! So lovely!
I screamed when you held up Ruby Red. I'm so emotional attached to that author and that book and I read it like three years ago when it came out in German but it's still in my top ten books of all time.
Jennifer Morales KEEP GOING. Trust me. IT'S WORTH IT. Chaol is awesome. He's sweet and valiant. But come on, ROWAN THOUGH. I like Rowan as more of Aelin's best friend, though. Not bf.
Whenever I watch your videos I get so excited about reading. You make all these books sound so wonderful. The only bad thing is I am not sure which of these books to read first! I think I am going to read Heir of Fire as I am almost done with The Assassin's Blade. Outlander is definitely on my TBR for January!
this video was so entertaining to watch! you put such excitement into this when talking about your fave books of 2014, that I pretty much want to read everything you talked about. Especially Outlander. Also you could definitely pass for Clary.
Your my favorite BookTuber, you recommend such good books and your full of energy. I am obsessed with all the books you talked about today, I wouldn't know what good books to read without you. Your the best.
I just started reading outlander and i just watched the first 8 episodes and fell in love with the story... And Jamie Fraser! Can't wait to see what happens next!
First of all you're almost to 100,000K!!!! I mentioned Cress and Heir of Fire in my top releases video and Hexed Which I read based on your recommendation :-) can't wait for the new releases in all of these series. Great video Sasha!
I'm reading Cinder at the moment (along with 50 shade of grey series). though I hate starting a series when all the books have not come out yet, i couldn't help myself with this one. i'm such a sucker for fairytales. oh, i did want to mention something. if i'm not mistaken (and i could totally be wrong here), but i believe that Winter is officially the fourth book in the series. Fairest (officially book 3.5) was more of a side-ish story so readers could get to know the queen's take a bit better. so i think there will be one other book after winter, since the author said the series is in five part. but, like i mentioned before, i could be wrong. and if you didn't know, there are also three free short stories that you can find on the website Wattpad (and you can find it on other sites too). These are entitled Glitches - set prior to Cinder, The Queen's Army - set just before Scarlet, and The Little Android which is based on the little mermaid. oh i have a book to recommend to you . :) if you have not read it already i recommend The Duff: designated ugly fat friend. this book has just come out as a movie, but just so you know, the movie is ABSOLUTELY different from the book. the concept of what it means to be a DUFF is the only thing the book and movie have in common. though the movie was still very good on its own.
Agree with you completely on Outlander and The Bronze Horseman. Reading The Summer Garden at the moment, third book in the bronze horseman series and am loving the entire series! And Outlander, who could not agree best book ever!
Your hair looks so beautiful here! These Broken Stars would definitely be one of my favorites as well! Have a Happy New Year Sasha! Keep making videos :)
Can't wait to get reading! I recently just moved and there's no wifi (thank god for cellular)! Now, I have all the time in the world to read so YAY!!!! Thank u for another awesome review!!
I read Obsidian and Onyx ,because of your reccomendatioin about loving Jennifer L. Armentrout's books . I had never read any of her books ,so I picked up Lux Beginings and later on in the summer I got the chance to meet her . This month I read book 1 and 2 and and I loved them! I just ordered Lux Consequences .I can't wait to read book 3 and 4 and Orgin after. Thanks so much for the suggestion it was one of my top picks for 2014 :)
Awesome list! Thanks for reminding me about Doon! I feel you about your love of Scotland. Would love to visit that country. That only makes the second time I've heard about Silent Echo. Sounds like something I should pick up! Have a Happy New Year!
Hi Sasha i love your videos and i hope you keep making them. I can't wait to get and read Outlander because you have raved about it so much and i watch every one of your videos and i can tell from them that you love that book. I not long ago started the booktube community and i got the inspiration from your videos and i can't wait till you make another one. I too want to go to Scotland because it is just so beautiful and picturesque. Hope you stay on booktube!
Omg I'm fangirling so hardcore right now hahahah your excitement must have rubbed off onto me because now I'm lounge REALLY excited to read so many of these books on your list and gaaahhhh you picked so many phenomenal books!!!!! 2015 is going to be such an amazing year for reading!!!!
Actually Marissa Meyer is releasing another book before "Winter" in January. It's called "Fairest: Levana's Story." I'm really excited to read about Levana, and definitely can't wait to pick it up!
I'm trying to read These Broken Stars now, but I can't seem to get into it because of major book hangover from The Darkest Minds. I'm probably going to have to wait until I get the next books in that trilogy before I read it...
Doon is fantastic. I'm not done with it yet, but I'm about half way through. And I'm in love. I started reading it because I saw it in one of your recommendation videos. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Ooo I am super interested in The Bronze Horseman. I am a super huge fan of Historical Fiction and Historical Romance. I think that may be something that I'll like. If you have any other Historical Fiction novels you think I would like definitely give me suggestions.
Sasha! I don't know if you ever heard of The Winner's Curse, but you HAVE to read it! It's so freaking good, but sadly isn't hyped enough about especially when it's up there with like Divergent, TMI, etc. and I have a big feeling you might enjoy it!
you're hair looks so pretty! the kiss of deception is also one of my favorite books I've read this year! You were actually the one that made me want to read it after you put it in a book haul, so thanks for that! Total mindfuck
I have picked up sooo many books thanks to you. And everything you've recommended has been great so far. I'm in love with Jamie (finished Outlander, currently watching the series). And I just wanted to ask what happened with the Silent Echo read-along? I started and haven't finished it waiting for it ) : Love your hair btw
I love the Lunar Chronicles and can't wait for "Winter" to be released. Marissa Meyer has another Lunar Chronicle story (between Cress and Winter). It's called "Fairest" and is Levana's Story. It was released on 1/27/15 by Rampion Books.
I have Ruby Red now I can't wait to read it. Also JLA is AMAZING!!! Outlander is my FAV too, so now I want to read Doon thanks!! Your rambling is awesome love it
I think the Scotland you love is the Scottish Highlands. I mean, there are areas of Glasgow where the life expectancy is 30, and have you seen the film Trainspotting? Or Filth?
I'm interested to see what the Bronze Horseman is like. I've read a couple of other things by Paullina Simons but she writes such diverse books it's hard to know what to expect.
I just LOVE your hair, you look gorgeous!! One of the best things by this year was to find your videos that always makes me smile and light up my day:) Thank you for exicting♥♥
I love all of your videos! You get so excited about your books and I love it! Haha. And also, I am in LOVE with your hair! What kind of curling wand did you use?
So I went to Barnes and noble for outlander and just some other book I would find (in this case it was throne of glass YASSS) and so I'm looking around the little aisles and such cuz the other half of the store is puzzles and games. After like twenty minutes I give up. I'm not going to find it. This makes me really sad. So I pick up throne of glass and decide to buy some random Sarah Dessen book because...why not, even though I know I need outlander. I ain't talking to the help desk because they ain't very helpful to me. Then *angels start singing* I see it on a pile of bad patterned purses OUTLANDER BY DIANA SOMETHING. And it was great. The cover corner was bent. It wasn't hardcover. I wasn't even sure if it was the right outlander. Thank God it was. It looked like someone had just finished reading it. It looked like a library book which made me upset but I found it and I put the Sarah Dessen book in its place. It was..a good book day to say the least.
Sasha, you're such a sweet and beautiful person. I really enjoy your videos, they are part of my daily life. I wish you the best for this new year and for every year and day of your life. It may sound cheesy, but I love you and (because of the books) I feel very close to you ♥ Happy (almost) New Year ^^ I'm from Argentina, sorry if the word choice isn't accurate.
Have you ever seen Brigadoon? It's similar to Doon and maybe was an inspiration for the story. It's a musical about 2 tourists in Scotland who stumble on this town that only shows up one day every one hundred years. it's worth a watch.
Cassandra Clare came to Ireland twice and I missed both of the events 😭 hopefully she'll come back soon 😊 Ah yeah, I actually met Sarah J Maas in Edinburgh, holy cow she's hilarious and awesome 👍
i just love ruby red ♡♡♡ i'm from austria and mother tongue is german so i read this book years ago and re-read it like 4 or 5 times ♡♡♡ sooooooo much love ♡
Happy New Year Sasha! I wish you lots of health, happiness, love and success with all the college/university stuff :D My favorites are: And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini - This book is "simply the best" Cinder Beautiful Disaster The Saint, the Surfer and the Cooperative Manager by Robin Sharma - This book is life changing!!!! I finally read the Hunger Games Trilogy (don't blame me for being so damn late :D ) so they are the last for my "top favorites" this year ;) I really like all the books that you mentioned in this video and I can't wait to read all of them! Your hair is so pretty!!
Something I forgot to mention in my last comment was that your hair looks gorgeous!
Just bought Doon and cannot wait to read it!! 💗
Yeah your hair is gorgeous! And I kind of want to read Outlander now... But so many books, so little time!!!
I really really love your hair omg
The first thought that popped up in my head during the first seconds of the vid is 'ohmygod' because your hair is goals af! 😍😍

I'm from Argentina, sorry if the word choice isn't accurate.
Have you ever seen Brigadoon? It's similar to Doon and maybe was an inspiration for the story. It's a musical about 2 tourists in Scotland who stumble on this town that only shows up one day every one hundred years. it's worth a watch.
Cassandra Clare came to Ireland twice and I missed both of the events 😭 hopefully she'll come back soon 😊
Ah yeah, I actually met Sarah J Maas in Edinburgh, holy cow she's hilarious and awesome 👍

Happy New Year Sasha! I wish you lots of health, happiness, love and success with all the college/university stuff :D

Cinder
Beautiful Disaster
The Saint, the Surfer and the Cooperative Manager by Robin Sharma - This book is life changing!!!!
I finally read the Hunger Games Trilogy (don't blame me for being so damn late :D ) so they are the last for my "top favorites" this year ;)
I really like all the books that you mentioned in this video and I can't wait to read all of them! The only one problem is that I don't have enough space for many books at my room, but I'll figure something out :D
