(2-4th grade) first i read Percy Jackson series
(5th grade) then i read the Hunger games series
(6th grade) now i am reading the Divergent series
(around 6th-7th grade) planning on reading the legend series
in 2 grade i was assigned percy jackson and the lighting thief then i finished the whole series
Warning last (in Divergent series) book has something unexpected
UPDATE: i finshed almost all the books in divergent in less then a week that series is SOO addicting
and yes i know tris dies people spoil things on skype all the time when i mention books

Forbidden was amazing. I hate when people say it is a book about incest. Sure, a brother and a sister fall in love with each other, but is it about that? No. It is a love story with a twist. Don't pick it up unless you have an open mind. And if you don't that is fine, but don't bash a book you've never read.
I feel like I am the only one who couldn't even bare to get through insurgent and didn't bother reading allegiance...
Have you read the Maximum Ride series? It's so good!
You should read the Uglies series. I think its a very interesting series, dystopian and Ira about this world in which most of the population are 'uglier' or as you may guess, unattractive people and about the 'pretties' which you can probably guess who they are and yeah I don't want to spoil anything but please to and read it, it's really good!

I didn't think there was a such thing as a book hangover until I read The Fault in our Stars in a day in a half. (symptoms may include headache, shaking legs, heavy eyes and depending on the type of book: extreme emotions)
Btw angelfall is about this girl living in a post-apocolyptic world. She's really street-smart and kicks major ass and it starts when she stumbles into an angel fight and then one of the angels takes her little sister and she kidnaps a nearly dead angel to go rescue her sister. I picked up The 5th Wave after this video, and ... WHOA. Like litrally, just WHOA. It was like no other book I've ever read. So much action, so many feels, and oh those geek culture references. I had a bit of a tough time with all the language, but it was such a great book.

You should read The Lunar Chronicles, there set in the future and in space and other planets. There amazing.

In my opinion I don't think so, but for some people I guess it is. That series is just not good.
The plot is amazing I just don't like the writing style much

the 2nd book has some stuff that may make you want to stop reading the series.....don't worry keep pushing and you will not be disaponted by the 3rd and 4th book.... so sad it ended.

I'm surprised you liked Shiver. I've been trying to finish it for a year now. I'm finally starting to develope a relationship with the characters but I still find them annoying (especially Sam, I hate reading from his point of view). But it's finally getting a bit interesting now. I think the reason why I couldn't really get into it is because it's just so slow..

My friend let me borrow her copy almost a year and a half ago, and I still haven't finished it. When I asked her if she wanted it back, she said I could keep it because she never even finished the book anyway. I found it extremely boring tbh.

I was hoping for something like Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, if anyone could give me a recommendation.
I mean, a Series of Unfortunate Events was an engaging series, but ultimately I found it unfulfilling, seeing as how many mysteries they left in the air. I know ambiguity was what they were going for, but I had been hoping for better closure, so I just felt really frustrated at the end. :~/
'That in mind, could anyone suggest a teen book series with similar mystery elements that actually DELIVERS on those mysteries?

I've read till book 2 on the Mortal Instruments, then watched the movie , the movie was so bad. so so bad.....
The movie was good ,but because the book was so much better that it made the movie terrible. I used to love the movie so I read the series and watched the movie again and i hated it.

I recommend-The warrior series by Erin Hunter-lots of people probably haven't heard of these books BUT THEY ARE AMAZING!! they are about cats, and there is a lot of fan based stuff you have to know about this series but it is about a house cat named Rusty and he joins the wild cats and it is a huge series I will do a vid about this soon!

The Iron Fey Series, Throne of Glass (incomplete wait for the next 3 books), The Heroes of Olympus (PJO squeal), The Kane Chronicles (written by Rick Riordan), Raised by Wolves trilogy (beware ending), The Mortal Instruments, the Infernal Devices trilogy, and the Unearthly trilogy (I personally disagreed with the ending but don't let that stop you from reading it's good).

If you haven't already, you NEED to read the Ruby Red series. It is about a girl named Gwen and she finds out she can time travel and it is just so amazing! It is also a movie but it is in German because the book was originally written in German. It is by Kerstin Gier by the way.

The book Forbidden left me in a pool of tears. I recommend it to open-minded people. Oh and only read it if you're okay with unhappy endings. It was sad, tragic love story, unlike any other. It was just recently added to my favorite love-story books.
The ending was so sad I literally cried for hours.

Have you read the House of Night series? It's really interesting! I picked up the first book and couldn't stop reading it!!! The first book is called Marked and there's about 12 to 14 books total so it's good for people who like to read drama and romance fiction. I don't recommend it for kids under 12 or 13 because of some mature content but it's not super inappropriate. It's about a girl named Zoey Redbird and she gets Marked to be a fledgling vampyre. No I didn't spell it wrong. She ends up in a very sticky situation so to speak without spoilers!!!

One book series you NEED to read is the Kingdom Keepers series by Ridley Pearson if you have dreamed of hanging out at Disney World and Disneyland after dark than this is the book for you! It has evil Disney characters, hologram, and a lot of awesome amazing characters you will fall in love with!
