Absolutely agree with #1 and #2 except acomaf is still slightly higher hehe Stalking Jack The Ripper completely blew me away though and I never would have expected it to be that good! Also, looks like i'll be adding Falling Kingdoms on my tbr now :D thanks for this awesome vid sasha!
STALKING JACK THE RIPPER WAS SO GOOD! I loved it so much, the same day I finished it I ended up at a HalfPricedBooks and found another Ripper retelling and now I think I've boughten at least 4 😳. I went a little crazy but I was so interested in the mystery of the story and I love the idea of one story having so many different endings! Thanks so much for recommending, its not the type of book I typically pick up and I probably would never have thought twice about it if you hadn't made it sound so amazing, AND FOR GOOD REASON!! x

Lady Midnight and Six of Crows were the best I've read this year. I read Lady Midnight in a day and had me sprawled on the floor crying. Six of Crows had me running to the book store for the sequel.

***** It's not out here either :( I've read the whole series in English, but tbh it's better this way :) And yea, it was a little different than the other books, but characters, like normal people, change and that just made it more genious. OML Sarah is the queen of writing
I read Falling Kingdoms and fell in love with it. It is so good. I'm reading Rebel Spring right now and it is amazing.

I loved Touch of Power!! I binged the whole series in a week and I am definitely going to be re-reading it soon.
And I also loved the Great Hunt by Wendy Higgins, Truthwitch by Susan Dennard, Frostfire by Amanda Hocking, Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard, the Covenant series by Jennifer L. Armentrout (she is my favorite author btw), the Splintered trilogy, the Vampire Academy series ( so glad I finally picked that series up!!) and Venators: Through the Arch by Devri Walls
If you like high fantasy I would highly suggest Venators. The author is a great friend of mine and her storytelling is creative and phenomenal!!

2016 went by so fast! I read mostly standalone books except books from A song of ice and fire series and Harry Potter series !
I was reading Stalking Jack the Ripper last year but it didn't grip me as much as you and I put it down. But now that you recommend it and so excited about it, I think I'll give it another go.

I read the whole Throne of Glass series (except Empire of Storms because I just finished Queen of Shadows) this year and LOVED it! That series is definitely the best thing I read all year. I only read 13 books this year so I don't have a lot to choose from but the Throne of Glass series was awesome and I can't wait for the TV show and the last book.

Hessa T. Yeah, I don't think many tv shows do the original books justice as they always edit out the important bits. I mean, look at shadowhunters. I feel like the Throne of Glass series is just a series that cannot be made into a tv series because you change one thing about it and everything else will literally make no sense.
My top favorite series this year of 2016 would probably be the Lunar Chronicles series. Cress killed me. I was completely fangirling over Cress and Thorne. XD I also read the Slated trilogy which is a psychological thriller where the main character had like four different names and it was really interesting. It made me cry and squeal and laugh. I loved it!!!! I like your videos a lot Sasha cause you show your fangirl moments and it tells the audience that you really did love the book and it makes me want to read them.
My top favorite releases of 2016 were easily ACOMAF and EoS!! You gotta love some SJM ♥♥

Shadowfever, the final book in the dark fever series by Karen Marie moning, was one of my faves as well as lady Midnight, Six of Crows, Saga Vol. 4, and Mistborn.
I didn't even notice she said 2015 in the beginning😂
My favourite books of 2016 were probably I'll Give You The Sun and How I Live Now. They were just really great books.
My favorite series this year has been Poison Study and the Charley Davidson series, if you haven't checked out the Charley series, you totally should. Darynda Jones writes it and it's seriously A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Paranormal, romance, friendship, and just holy crap...Why wouldn't everyone read this?!

I read for 2016 Outlander series, me before you, Harry Potter and the cursed child, fantastic beasts and City of bones mortal instruments book 1 audiobook as well as the Fiery Trial (Tales from shadow hunter academy audio book 8 and I would like to thank you Sasha for introducing me to some of there's books!
Just make sure to read all of Maria V Snyder's books, especially the glass ones (my personal favourites!) they are fantastic!
