For me it was about 500, but some people have business models and make more than me with 200 listed. It really depends on the items you're listing
I wish I could sell items like you Kat. I have worked for yrs trying to make money reselling. eBay doesn’t support the seller and I’m disgusted by that but I cannot get views. I’m paying lots of money to get people to see my items but I’m very lucky if I sell 5 to 10 items in a week. I advertise almost daily. I honestly am exhausted trying.
How many items do you have listed? We have over 6000. If you check sell through rate before buying or listing it should give you an idea of how long items take to sell. I have started paying more attention to this when I'm sourcing.

I can’t get any views on my eBay auction items unless I pay ahead and promote. I also have to promote my buy it now items to get any views. I always got views without paying in the past. Now nothing. Small seller getting disgusted.
I've always promoted from small until now with overe 6000 items even running promoted 20% is not that horrible for fees considering they do all the advertising and bring all the buyers. I rarely do auctions unless they're rare and in demand I find buy it now is best
@@TheNurseFlipper Thank you for your help! Most of my auctions are for vintage jewelry lots. I don’t always know what they’re worth so I do auctions. I don’t always have the extra to promote. It’s frustrating that without paying now I can’t even get a look. I’m going to try what you’ve done to see if things change a bit. I’m 65 and trying to sell just to get by. You’re very helpful to all of us and encouraging. Thank you for all you do!
@@maurad5378 for vintage jewelry lots I would say you should be getting bids if it's good and you have the title keyword well. Unless you're starting them out too high.

How do you know the basket is vintage? I worry someone will say my item isn't vintage and I'll get a ding.
You won't get a ding just possibly return if someone disagrees but I've never had that happen and everything I got from that estate was older

I don't use any service for posting on eBay or shipping, I'm not sure what you're referring to. I have people I pay to list the items into drafts and then I price them after researching and I ship when I sell.

Check the sell through rate of what you have. How many items are listed and how many have sold you want to see 50% or more sold so if 100 listed 50 sold
