Zodiark is one of the coolest beings ever.
Yes, Zodiark (FFXII) and Eden (FFVIII) are very cool and they are the most powerful espers.
I also love Diavolos (Diablo, FFVIII), its summon is pure aesthetics, each scene is perfect....There are many cool espers on the FF franchise. Beauty is the eye of the beholder.

Most folks won't touch the Espers, but remember that they still have their uses, especially in runs where your gear is suboptimal or one big hulk of a body is better than 3 fragile ones. Here are the recommendations of those that are useful:
Addramelech: Useful earlier in the game to navigate areas like the Garamscythe Waterways. Since the popular enemies are largely things like Malboro, Addamelech easily tanks the bad breath and hits back proportionally harder than you can in clearing the mob. The rest of the level 1 espers are pretty bad though...
Shemhazai: Most would not expect her, but she's probably one of the most powerful Espers in the game for general combat. Devour Soul is a powerful attack that ignores weaknesses and deals a ton of damage as long as you keep her topped off. She's great for sustained boss fights like Deathgaze that demand a tank while dealing good damage in kind. Then if you feel she is threatened, immediately pop her deathblow for a quick parting shot for an easy 60k.
Zeromus: Easily the best damage dealer of the bunch, Zeromus is more or less a sponge that returns damage to sender. He's the opposite of Shemhazai where the goal is to get him to as low as possible and then popping him. He's not good for sustained fights since his attacks scale on HP lost so it's not good to gamble with him despite his potential damage.
Exodus: For when you need a big meat shield. He's slow as shit, but he also hits hard so it's a cool Esper for 2 bars. His Deathblow is a gamble, but he hits so hard anyway that it's alright to ignore that.
Zodiark: Like all the level 3 Espers, Zodiark is beefy, but the real value in him is his deathblow that has no strings attached, it just hits really hard.
Ultima: *blows up an entire continent*

@@whenyoucantfindaname In the PSP game Dissidia 012 Duodecim. Gabranth is a playable character. His EX move is Basch's Quickenings with Black Hole as his finisher. He says these lines on each move.

-Eden: it travels trough space-time, it messes with space-time, it sends the enemy to a galaxy, it destroys the galaxy...It may be able to destroy a dimension (it isn't seen destroying a dimension).

This is the last time FF had inventive/badass ultipmate attack / summon. Since ff13, they all have an cleaned generic design. I want the head of who designed ff13 bahamut
they need to remake this game with extras or make ff16 same type just story better

Zeromus is the best hands down! If you equip one of your characters that’s a level around 95+ with the nihopalaoa & use a bubble mote & a elixir on Zeromus. Zeromus can do about 270k damage with Big Bang. That’ll definitely put Zodiark to shame. I mean I like Zodiark’s deathblow, but Zeromus tops it off!

12:38 You should be able to demand your summon doing these powers they look and feel amazing. Of course some of the summons wouldn't receive it.
I think it would appear not when we summon them, but when we fight them. Also it occur after quickenings, I guess

The actual reason you even do quickenings. Its the final blow limit break basically. The better you do the better the concurrence.
@@ZeroOmega-vg8nq You have to get 5 quickenings minimum to activate it, right? Never works on 4 or less for me
@@Maesterful it depends on the level of quicks you use. 3 level 1s activates inferno and i think like 10 level 3s activate black hole the strongest one
@@ZeroOmega-vg8nq Interesting, I just beat the game got all the espers and did the hunts and not once did I get Black Hole. I guess I suck at quickenings 😂🕳️

I never used the espers, mainly unlocked them to read the interesting lore
Is there an Esper Concurrences version? If recall, Zalera had an unique one were it shows a death-like skull from a Black Hole or something.

I forgot, but if im not wrong they are lucavi's creation but rebelled against them. And the one that incited the rebellion was ultima the whisperer. Matheus was using ice goddes as his shield at war against the creator.
