I can personally attest to this! There needs to be a sense of urgency in which government agencies act on a military footing.
Local governments and citizens must change the laws so that waste is disposed of properly. That will not happen though unless parliamentary democracy is disposed of. Elected officials have too much discretionary authority and at the same time are rendered powerless to deal with these issues.
we should motivate people and companies this kind of dustbins

people don't think but do nothing about it & remaining disaster system do .

Here in America there used to be no RECYCLING of plastic etc about 25 years ago. But now we get now 3 Trash cans (1 for Green waste of yard, 1 for plastic, paper glss etc recycling & 1 for trash can). This paper metal & plastic is exported to China etc where they recycle & use it. Some cities burn this & produce electricity. But some place they bury it in layers separated by plastic membrane & dirt & they produce Natural gas, collect it & use in trucks.

If they provide enough dust bin , why would i throw it in road, the state govt must take step to keep enough dust bins, and keep collection the waste 3 -2 time a day , & people must promise they ll throw in bin, then it work. in my street there is no dust bin when it was people throw it but it always over flow and the street became dirty... govt must look us, singapore how they are using this gold (garbage ) into resources. i hope modi govt do such plans,
