What a wonderful video. I love the mother/daughter relationship. The salads look delish and I cannot wait to make the chickpea salad!
Love mother daughter cooking!
Beautiful food! And that gorgeous hair on Neshama! Thank you for taking the time for this video.
The daughter is very knowledgeable regarding cooking. It is evident she enjoys working in the kitchen very much. She and her mom really seem to have a great relationship.
Just made the broccoli-raisin-almond-balsamic-salt one for my dad and we both loved it. Thank you so much dear. I'm now going to try out the Quinoa salad, but they were out of quinoa at both of my local grocery stores so I bought cous cous instead...
travelller I love cous cous so much, I thought it was super cream of wheat as a kid lol.
I always come back to this video for the chickpea salad! Now I have to try the rest. But it’s a winner every time. 😋
It is so wonderful that I found your videos. I worked in Borough Park in NY with lots of Orthodox and Hasidic friends and had Shabbos at my friends home. I love Jewish meals and eating kosher. Healthy eating.
You are an incredible person and mother.
I really enjoyed this video,it shows how your sweet NESHAMA,loved every moment of being part in the preparation of those delicious salads, and of course the song in the end is so beautiful, and the way you describe all who made possible this video, most of all our haKADOSH BARUCHU it's exquisite!!!!TODA RABA,my dear, it's quite a pleasure to watch all your videos!!!May HaSHEM bless you and all your family forever!!!🤗😊✡️💖🤗😊✡️💖🤗😊✡️💖🤗😊✡️💖
thank you so much rivka malka and neshama and the whole crew that helped behind the scenes that made this video happen! the salads look delish, the colors of all the vegies mixed together were beautiful.
Your welcome from the crew!
I wish you could have seen it on real life! I thought my phone would capture it but sadly not.
Absolutely love Shabbat Prep videos. Thank you for all the inspiration!
I love Granny Smith apples. They are my favorite. My favorite snack used to be a sliced apple with salty vinegar for dipping. Mmmm!
Wonderful that your daughter likes to cook! Bless.
I love the video. would it be possible for you to add the mushroom and barley soup recipe in the description box please? thanks so much.
Rivka Malka Perlman, You and Neshama are absolutely the sweetest and you both work harmoniously together as well and so quickly 5 salad creations were spun! It takes me so long to spin just one salad! You are both a delight. I also enjoyed the music sealing up the sweetest video. Take much care, we need your inspirations. -Sonia Sortet
👏👏👍👍😁😁Good work Neshama. You're a smart confident girl with a lot of derech eretz. You should continue to bring much nachas to your family.
I also liked you're question about less sugar in cabbage salad. You could probably go even a spoon less to 4 Tbsp on the sugar but you would have to go a few splashes less on your lemon as well. Try it out and see if you and your family like it with even less sugar.
rivka the way you talk to your daughter is beautiful. you are so kind. when we are kind to our children we can change the world. I pray you and your family are always blessed :)
Dearest Rivka, Thank you so much for taking the time showing us how to make these delicious dish. Thumbs Up to the young helper !!!

Love luv LOVE your salad recipes, & your adorable daughter. I've been watching your videos, & learning a lot. Thank you for inspiring me as a woman. Tell Neshama I said, to throw in a "pinch" of this, & a "pinch" of that, in recipes, ha ha. May the abundant blessings of Ha Shem be upon you & your family. Keep the awesome recipes coming. I love to prepare food for my family & friends.
I love this video! Many blessings to you and your family!
the most amasing thing ever
Nice job. Heartwarming video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@rivkamalka1 Shalom. I’m always on the look-out for new kosher recipes, and so comforting to watch orthodox Jewish videos during this time when Covid has us socializing less than we normally do.
I almost didn't watch this, but glad I did. Great recipes.
delicious! i made the chickpea salad today!! thank you for doing this video! Neshama reminded me that i loved chickpeas too at her age.
You are so darling...I just enjoy your cooking segments so much!
Neshama is beautiful, just like her mother. They're both so natural, and are a delight to watch. I can't get over that knife that Rivka uses for everything. She certainly doesn't chop with a proper chopping knife, but she nonetheless manages to get a pretty fine result, and fast, too. When I think of the umpteen knives I have, looking at Rivka with her one little knife makes me want to throw mine away. Cheers from Burlington ON Canada. March 29/18
I used to use just a small pearing knife just like her, for everything. Since two years ago I discovered a super sharp “rocking “ knife, changed me forever, very sharp big knife. I barely touch my pearing knives now!
Shalom aleichem thank you so much for all your hard work and in Sharing recipes and teaching us more about God's word and pray I've really started to take Shabbat seriously and I noticed that there's a entering into the presence of God it's awesome
Please tell me again where I can get that nice that you're using all the time paring knife please keep up the good work God bless you and your family shalom
I love being a Jew thank ya so much for this!
Thank you! You are wonderful!
Thanks so much for sharing your talents. Where are music credits? Loved that song!

Adorable Neshama
thank you for sharing - what a dear, sweet, daughter you have =) i'm off to the market right now with my daughter so that we can prepare a few of these tomo afternoon for our Shabbos. I very much enjoy your videos - thank you, again, for sharing :) amy marie
loved the video...where are the salad ingredients and recipes listed
Just added them!
My Grand mother use to do that type of meal, north Mexico.
Thank You!
You can store the chopped apple in a container with water and lemon juice andthen just drain the liquid when it's time to serve the salad. :)
Sounds delicious all of it! Only suggestion don’t use aluminum foil, use parchment paper. Have you tried stevia instead of sugar?
Hello I was wondering how I could reach out to place of worship in my area. I live in Santa Clara California. I realize this is a stretch but would you know anyone in this area or a place of worship that you would recommend?
I think at chabad.org they have a list... or could connect you to someone. :-)
The music is too loud and drowns you out. No music please! Your voice is pleasant enough.
Thank you for the recipes! I'm a new subscriber from Italy. Here most people eat broccoli cooked but I know in the U.S. people often eat it raw; were the broccoli in the video raw?
Update: I boiled the broccoli with little water for just about 10 minutes.
keep the apple good? Until later ? I put the apple in a small cup and cover with unsweetened apple juice. works like a charm !
intresting...what is that you said before you taste the chick peas ? I'm curious..
I realize this is an old comment, but it is a blessing/prayer of thanksgiving specific to the food that is enjoyed, and to be said prior to ingesting any kind of food (again, specific blessings for specific foods). Something like, "Blessed art thou, oh Lord our G-d, who gives us bread from the earth" before eating a bread item. :-)
Awsome thank you muslims also say prayers before eating and whilst cooking and basically during everyday chores we read prayers and remember Allah. Thank you again for clarifying stay blessed.
@@ummubaidullah1211 I have noticed something like that when I was visiting with devout Muslims. :-) It is a good thing to do; to be mindful of how we are not (on) our own.
"Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14
Something for me to ponder on, I'm sure.
Blessings to you and yours! :-)
Beautiful red hair !!
wow mushroom barly soup mm
Your daughter has beautiful hair!
Married to amorrocan in Israel, I only use celantro coriander. My daughter hates dill or parsley...I only used dill in soups or salads my daughter doesn't eat I love dill. To each thier own
thanks amazing for shabbos
May I suggest that you buy a good French chiefs knife or a good Chinese vegetable knife
Try craisans cranberry raisins
EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING👍🏼
is the music supposed to be playing while I'm watching the Chick Pea salad recipe. Very distracting. Love your salads!!! Thank you
I think your furry friend in the background wants some TLC🐾🐾
🥰
that black been one is soo me
never thought about lemon juice for the dressing ya in a vinegar person lol
When I am, or know I will be pressed for time, I precut everything and store it separately in its own container (or even wrap it in plastic wrap in separate bundles), and then throw it all together. I make my dressings beforehand as I use freshly squeezed lemon juice, and keep the bottle in the bowl ready to go with everything else, and dress it 5-10 mins before serving. Things that brown when sitting too long (even with lemon juice), should be cut and added at the last minute though.... brown food is never pretty...
Not all enzymes are killed in all vegetables some R actually activated with heat
