very clear and interesting.thank you sooooo much xxxxxx
Useful channel to discover thanks for the post 👍 and a good point about having more than one streaming channel on the go (I only use my mobile I don’t have home bb because for full max speed it was £30 and it’s pretty good although that might change in future) I currently have 3!! I’ll look into this very shortly 👍
Very interesting video about Now. I cancelled Netflix back in 2018. I only subscribe to Amazon Prime. I've been hesitant about joining any other streaming service, but this pay as you go service is very interesting. £1 a month sounds nice.
Andy, please can you tell me what type of recording box it is that you have.
Thanks for your video
Hi Andy.
I just noticed that the electoral roll is missing my middle name. Is this a major deal and can it effect my credit reports
I have a humax aura box with built in chromecast, but I cannot cast from my phone to TV, and when I connected now, they said that their cast feature only works with the old chromecast you plug into the back of the TV,
Do you need boost to watch on two devices at the same time ?
do you need a firestick to stream on your laptop?
does that day pass include the boxing as well?
Do you know if NowTV is 1080p with the boost on my android phone/tablet? Thanks
Hi Andy I've paid £3.99 a month for entertainment. I went to cancel before the deal ended got another 6 months for £3.99. I've paid less than £20 a month for sports since July ftw
Amazing!
I have been with Now Tv since 2012 started at £4.99 for entertainment increased to £9.99 I only watch certain programs as most of it is total rubbish I only pay £5.00 a month for 6 months till July 2022. If you cancel I get an offer if I don't I will not bother especially when ads are on constantly why should you pay for ads
What about HDR and Dolby atmos that we get on sky, netflix, amazon and disney?
I’m in a temporary place so just got NOW broadband but when i move im looking at Tv.
can you record with NOW TV?
Very informative. You speed through your videos though so difficult to take it all in.
Always lots to pack in! There is an option to slow videos down, so maybe see if that helps. Click the cog ⚙️ symbol on videos

I wish NOW would add more music channels to their entertainment package.
Particularly the MTV music channels would be cool?!!🙂
Yes but can you access red button events ?
Does nowtv stick have the Roku channel app?
Nvidia Shield doesn't have Now TV app but you can cast it to the Shield through phone or Tablet
You can sideload it easy on the Shield :)
Will this be good for gaming
When does the 30 start and finish ?
Thank you for sharing this I just cancel my Netflix I was having pay £14 but now I’ve put everything on BT read everything it’s much cheaper £53 for broadband mobile phone Netflix and now TV 😊👍🏼
I have just signed up for a day pass with now, if I want to upgrade to monthly on sports it would cost £33. If I cancelled the day pass and then signed up for 6 month sports it would cost £25 is that possible thanks
Just found your channel. Bloody amazing cancelled my sports monthly pass instead of 33.99 im paying 19.99 a month for 6 month thanks sir
Amazing! Good to see they’re offering this on Sports passes
I’ve got it legally but how do I watch it?
Yeah I used to cancel and get offer to stay I figured that out butt I suppose you're right in just having 1 streaming service. I cancelled Netflix as I've watched pretty much all I want and switched to Disney plus. I do keep Amazon prime as you get much more for your money. Butt I watched your video cos I thought you were going to discuss now fibre and review it but you didn't.??
Hi Andy how does now with the boost picture compare to sky Q, thanks
It probably won’t be as good! But I don’t notice any difference on my Samsung TV. Maybe try it for a week (free trial) to see what you think
Hi Andy, which is better, the app stick, or 4k box, thanks.
I use a normal fire stick, as I can't till the quality of the image, and can you broadband cope with the data speed
4K sticks are only worth it if you have a TV that’s also 4K and if the content you want to watch is available in 4k. Personally I’m fine with the cheaper HD options for now
Very interesting could be a new purchase as my Sky subscription is finished Feb2024 and Sky has got just too expensive, in the past 2 yrs my Sky has gone up from £45 then £50 then £57 then come new yr it will be £62, no way I’m paying that so NOW looks an interesting purchase
So if you don't get the no ads addon, is it "just" at the beginning that they have ads or is it during the film also?
It won't be during the film, so just at the start.
@@BeCleverWithYourCash maybe I’ve been lucky but re joined £5.99 for 3 months, not taken the booster as yet, but have been watching a film on my iPhone today and no adverts..
My preferred watching is cricket (Sky Sports) and rugby (BT Sport). Is this only possible with a BT or Sky subscription? I have BT and would change if I could. Thanks. David
I use bt sport on ee mobile contract. Its good you can put it on big screen for £5.
100 💯 a tried sky stream this month but been a now tv customers for years ive only paid 3.99 for it. I wanted to try stream cause loved idea of tv guide which now tv should improve on
Your paying 3.99 for now tv? Are you based in US also is entertainment and sports included?
My 4k tv they have no 4k?
Hi Andy, I have had issues with the rolling contact? How do I keep the contract rolling? My contact automatically cuts out after 30 days. Contacted Now and had no success - need help!!!!
Hmm, that's very strange. I would say though that it's better to cancel every month so you can see if they offer you a discount for future months.
Way back when (2015 maybe) I had an issue with my NOW account and I ended up just creating a new one with a different email - so perhaps try this?
have now and netflix with BT for £6 month BT tv snd 24 month contract.
Hi Andy, my Sky contracts are about to end, so if I called them and told them I'm thinking of moving to Now, they're not likely to offer my cheaper deals as Sky own Now?
It’s worth a go! Though Sky owns NOW it is treated as leaving Sky if you did make the change, so they’ll likely offer discounts for you to stay. The question is: will that discount be enough to justify a new 18 month contract?
It depends what you watch on sky mate. You can always get discounts on now if you go to cancel and write in the box cost issue or something you usually get offered a discount
Left sky for now tv and Netflix years ago best thing I did. Unfortunately I only watch RUclips do i pay for the TV for others
Big savings!
Is there any way to get the sports pass low right now for the new season?
I don’t have a subscription at the minute so does this mean I cannot receive an offer yet?
Do you have to pay the full price for one month at first?
If I get a Now-TV monthly subscription will I be able to watch it straight of my Apple I-Phone?
Can I watch anything by law without a TV Licence?
Yes you can watch on your phone. As long as you don’t watch anything live on Now you won’t need a tv licence
Is it 31 days before my contract ends I can cancel sky
NowTV beats Sky on the movies, I agree. However, NowTV does not offer all the same none movie channels. I am a fan of documentaries, something that Sky TV offers me and NowTV does not. I have the basic Sky package with Netflix, quite happy, then the NowTV movies. I do no sports
Hi Andy im leaving sky after 5 yrs do u think freesat 4k recordable and now tv will pretty much cover most of the sky q content ? Ill probs go for entertainment, movies and boost
There is hardly anything on 4k freesat??? BBC + ITV/CH4
You should get a dodgy box £50yr for everything. Movies , Sports everything 🤣🤣
clear as mud.
do I need a "stick" to watch on my pc ?
Nope
Right now it’s 25 for 3 months but app says 33.99
Now also do broadband and their prices are very cheap.
I’m finishing my contract with BT in February and looking at my options…
We took the Broadband with NOW. It is good value at £22, it also gave me discounts on the tv passes if I took them at the same time. However the router is definitely not as good as a sky router in terms of Wi-Fi coverage.
@@legendpete8422 how do you mean the WiFi coverage isn’t as good?
@@craigr9881 The range is not as good.
@@legendpete8422 oh dear how bad is it?
Which recorder is available for Now?
None sadly, so it’s all on demand
@@BeCleverWithYourCash Thanks for replying - just cut off Sky as we're out of contract and still got hit with a 58% price hike which was the last straw. Saving a pile by using Now instead, but wife loves to download things to recorder to watch later - I told her to add to Watchlist instead of record and it's the same except streamed. Thanks for your excellent tips - also saved a pile by cancelling and renewing Now packages instead of leaving them on.
I’ve been looking at the reviews on Trust Pilot and have to say they are shocking. Not many positive reviews.
It does what it does. Personally it’s not been any different to other streaming services.
I imagine if the reviews are about Now broadband?
Hi Andy, why are most of now reviews shocking, while you recommend it.
I'm thinking of getting now tv, not sure what to do any thoughts on the very bad reviews. Thanks
It’s not perfect. But no tv or streaming service is! I think people mostly leave reviews after bad experiences rather than good. My take is simple: get the same channels and save hundreds a year
@@BeCleverWithYourCash thanks Andy, just got the now stick and controller very pleased, thanks for all your sound advice
you don’t get the same channels as sky Andy
Can I buy now tv in spain ? Thanks
You’d need a VPN
@@BeCleverWithYourCash Thanks Andy can you tell me where can I buy a V P N THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
Does TV now have subtitles in Polish because there is probably no translation like netflix hm (?)
i just got the special offer for 9.99 for 3 months, but the boost endsin a few days, went to cancel and they offered it to me for 2 quid a month for 3 months
Decent!
Yes NovTV is a lot cheaper but the range of channels are a LOT less too. A lot less.
Yeah they don’t have my favourite DMAX channels and quest, hgtv and discovery channels. The channels on now tv suck
@@kevcarlin DMAX, Quest and HGTV is on freesat and freeview. Discovery channels you can subscribe if you wish. A question though is if it is cheaper to get now and discovery apps over getting a sky scubscription
The adverts before every movie was enough for me to cancel
Yeah. I’m happy paying £1 a month for Boost, but £5 would be a very different matter
I'm confused. There is a video from you about a year ago titled Why You Need To Cancel Now TV.
Have you watched the other video?
@@BeCleverWithYourCash No, that's why I asked.
I just cancelled the movie pass not enough films and annoying ads plus I got other stemming services I should be watching
Yeah, it’s getting worse sadly. In part it’s because not as many films were released in cinemas 6+ months ago, but also more movies are going to Netflix, Disney and Amazon
The movie package can't really compete with the Netflix and prime etc. But entertainment pass is a bargain at 4.99 if you can get the deal
@@BeCleverWithYourCash Can i ask, with movies, does NOW TV have exactly the same number of titles available in it's library to stream as on SKY TV?
if you take out there fast broadband super fibre offer. for £20 a month you can get entertainment pass for 12 months at 5.99 which is 40% off.
my thing with a lot of these sites is how much do they really offer. what new movies and tv series are added each month
I have netflix. but do find that it is hard to find what other's say is on the service that gem of a movie or tv show
When you mentioned 1080p that put me right off
It didnt save me any cash i can tell you!
I also cancelled various times and got the offers too, I had been a now tv customer for years until 2022 January when they decided to change the film release process.
They used to release films every day just after midnight but that has stopped and they have started releasing it within few days in between.
I watch movies every night so I cancelled and I won’t be going back unless it’s changed as no longer fulfils my needs. Shame really as I loved to watch the films, I now have Amazon prime and watch it instead.
It could be that there just arnt enough films available? I think Sky gets the films nine months after they are released? Not sure if that is correct?
Never going back to now tv, its all lies. You do pay a contract, and one months total veiwing comes to £64.91. I was told i could have on a month by month term, but turns out your supposed to have for 6 or 12 months.
What do you mean I was with now and I kept changing which passes and everything and cancelled after 2 months because I had no time and I had no issues
Does this experience include broadband? There are some longer contracts available this way. But if you sign up direct then it'll be month by month, with the very rare occasion there's a prepaid sports season pass.
To add insult to my issue, I only used the now box for the month free, and months paid for. After giving notice the box was unplugged and put in a cupboard. But the payments just kept being taken, and surprisingly it took over 4 years just to be refunded. What I can,t understand is how the payment for films made in may were taken, yet I never had the movies pack or the box plugged in. That was in 2014, by July I had sold the now box on to my nieghbour, even stranger was my neighbour had the sports pack, where as I suddenly started being charged for now entertainment.
And yet my contract was cancelled in February, after making several phone calls I finally got through to them that I was not a now customer.
But I had to wait 4 years for my refund? So I will never use now TV again.
It's not TV without a contract, that is total lies, there is a contract and you do have to pay them. Having used other services such as Netflix, disney+
Amazon prime etc. I only had issues with now.
if you only want free channels do you still have to subscribe?
As in BBC, ITV etc? No, though you need a TV Licence to watch live or use iPlayer
Just get freeview
Bit of a pointless service
