I did love your honesty and clear feedback about peicing . 210k for this 8M is too much when compared with the 250k for the 9M or many other options available in the market.
Great review! I was thinking all the way through that the 9 is so much better why bother with an 8. And you ended by making that very clear. The 9 wins! I suspect you forgot to show the loo though?
The wrapped hull and ‘fenders’will look tatty pretty quickly, no need to wrap aluminium. The passengers will have a horrible time going sideways in anything other than glassy water. No tie downs in bow storage area and any weight there will affect fuel consumption. Back seat and its storage will get wet with engine spray. A proper aluminium boat should do around 50 knots with a single 300. As with many boats in this category theyre trying to squeeze too much in. . Why not have a strong lifting foreword door like a Viggo C8 which to me seems a better boat, maybe just not as funky to some people, for slightly less money. Interesting review though thanks.
The raised cleat on the side deck is a painful/serious accident waiting to happen. A double berth on a boat which has no galley and no heads (even XO's website for the DFNDR 8 doesn't show or mention a heads) - what's the point ? Very limited dry storage. This really doesn't seem like a very well thought out offering. The 9 and 10 are far more cohesive designs.
Another brilliant tour Alex you certainly know what you are talking about when it comes to boats!
Brilliantly comprehensive tour Alex, thank you.
I’m sold, I’m off to rewatch the 9 tour 😂

The sideways facing seats seem like a misstep in a 50 knot boat.

An owner of this boat can drive around all day playing “harbor patrol”- “weee-ooooo”, “weeee-ooooo”!

Looks beautiful and out of my price range 😅
So it has a blackwater tank but no heads?🤨
I believe it’s in front of the navigation seat.
@@nickglossop Was just about to say that. Looks like hinges on the rhs of the console which would indicate it opens.
@@keithlivingstone2525 easy to miss when you do an in-depth boat review 😄
These boat manufactures need to take u out or something so we can see it on the water
