Imagine actually thinking that" like it was obvious that it should be legal. NEPy claims atheism is a cult. He justifies it by saying anything that isn't Christianity is a cult. When I point out that no dictionaries support that, he says "Never let seculars define religious terms." But there's no biblical definition of cult. Nowhere in the bible does it say "a cult is"... In fact, the word cult was invented in 1619, to mean "worship". It came from the Latin word "cultus" which means worship. So in reality, every religion is a cult and atheism isn't. Sorry NEPy, but atheism isn't a cult.
He once stated that anything that can't be observed in REAL TIME or in the Bible (no Special Pleading there 🙄) is an "atheist idea." When I pointed out that this meant Zeus was an "atheist idea", he was okay with that.

Anyone claiming that objective moral values exist and/or require a god must be able to demonstrate that it's true.
They can't just say it's a moral ontology and think that claim makes it true by default just because moral ontology is a thing.

For example, it is written, "lean not on your own understanding." However, while it is indeed wise to avoid intellectual hubris, Libbby's point that we should base our understanding of God on what God says rather than what humans say about God is seriously undercut by the fact that all we have is what humans say about God. We never hear anything from the horse's mouth.
Or anything that isn't solely personal experience and thus not exclusively proof of coming from said claimed god.

There are some who use this very argument. It is fallacious, because evil could exist without a gh0d or a satan. If there is no gh0d or satan, then gone is also the claim that a gh0d created both. So, evil could exist either on its own or by some other agency. I think the fallacy in the argument is arguing the consequent.

I've been "explaining it" for 11 yrs on this channel. God is known by what only God could produce. Since all matter is decaying in disorder from it's beginning and not gaining in complexity (evolution) or in new information, we then know that a non-decaying cause placed the initial matter/energy into existence at our beginning and it dissipated from there.
TIMELESS produced TIME. We already know that TIME/space/matter/energy had a beginning; thus, a beginner. Check & Mate. I "take the lead" more than anybody, because I know more than all you atheists combined. As far as the evidence, I rely on what's observed and what's observed in this world is DYING/decaying in disorder - not evolving or gaining in new information or complexity. That means a non-decaying cause placed initial matter/energy/complexity before it started to dissipate. Take note of these facts instead of desperately clinging to your BLIND FAITH that a rock came from a bang, got wet and produced the human being from soup over time. STOP being so willing to be that dumb.
