    WHAT IS THE ATHEIST EXPERIENCE?
    The Atheist Experience is a weekly call-in television show in Austin, Texas geared at a non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin.
    The Atheist Community of Austin is organized as a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.
    We define atheism as the lack of belief in gods. This definition also encompasses what most people call agnosticism.

      Evolution? There is no new anatomy differing from ancestry (evolution) - not ever. There's been no new anatomy in humans, chickens or horses for +/- 10,000 yrs and there never will be, because matter only loses information; there's never a gain of information (e.g. big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, star formation, evolution). Those lies have never been observed, because they're IMPOSSIBLE.
      Proof of God is easy: All matter/life in the universe (including any multiverse) is contiguous/under the same laws/LOSING INFORMATION/decaying in disorder and goes only in one direction: bad to worse. We observe this fact over time, when women can’t have babies anymore, our vision is no longer 20/20, our hearing ability weakens. We continue to decay & eventually lose enough information to arrive at our end (heat death). In every moment of our life, we don’t gain information, but we decay/experience a relentless loss of INFORMATION and we are DYING, as part of FINITE NATURE (time/space/matter/energy).
      Humans, chickens & horses have had the same anatomy for 10,000 yrs. There’s not going to be SUDDEN NEW ANATOMY (evolution) appear before your eyes. There's no such thing as NEW INFORMATION (e.g. big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, star formation, evolution). That’s why NONE of it has ever been observed or proved to be possible. That means there’s no such thing as “natural processes” adding NEW INFORMATION. An entity that only LOSES INFORMATION will not be able to provide NEW INFORMATION (evolution).
      EVERYTHING is dying, therefore our cause has to be a NON-DYING, INFINITE, SUPERNATURAL entity (God). There’s no other option. And God takes credit for creation (finite time/space/matter/energy) in the very first verse of the Bible (see below). It’d be cause to pause, if atheists had a RATIONAL/POSSIBLE, step-by-step atheist explanation for reality, but they don’t. That’s because God is real.
      “In the beginning (time), God created the heavens (space) & the earth (matter/energy).” - Genesis 1:1

      Why would you call me out like this?!?

    • @jpbaley2016
      @jpbaley2016 Год назад +13

      That’s not completely accurate. It’s when someone is given the barest information regarding biology, evolution, geology and other sciences and now believes what they know is the end all of information available. As they do not have the majority of information, they, therefore, fail to understand how certain conclusions could be drawn from it and so easily accept the supernatural explanation. People, like Rick, refuse to accept they are lacking in anything, whether it’s knowledge or understanding the reasoning behind scientific theories. They are skeptical of the theories of evolution because it would mean others know more than them; are able to understand more than them; are intellectually better than them. The talking snake puts everyone on the same playing field and the feeling of superiority comes from the fact they believe in the talking snake and are therefore chosen and those that don’t believe will either be left behind or punished.

    • @neverendingparty7741
      @neverendingparty7741 Год назад

      Wrong. It's very easy to debunk the farce of evolution and go on to prove the entire cult of atheism is a lie:
      1. You have no RATIONAL POSSIBLE coherent step-by-step atheist explanation for NOTHING to MAN existence. A mud puddle or moist rock didn't violate the 2nd law/Adamic Sin Curse by gaining complexity/new information & come from NOTHING & give rise to a first cell that had systems within to eat, digest food, eliminate waste, move, breathe & reproduce. NEITHER did that cell have the DNA blueprints for 10 million DIFFERENT species that MINDLESS, NON-PURPOSED, NEVER OBSERVED evolution came out of nowhere to diversify.
      Genesis (Creation) is already proven by science because we already know that all life had to have all bodily systems present and intact to survive, and that's why we know all life had to be created SUDDENLY and not in stages by a MINDLESS, NEVER-OBSERVED process (evolution).
      2. A cell cannot form from a cooled down rock that got rained on, much less have within the systems to eat, digest food, eliminate waste, move breathe and reproduce. You have no RATIONAL, POSSIBLE, step-by-step atheist explanation for reality, because there isn't one.
      3. The 2nd law forbids all atheist ideas (e.g. big bang, abiogenesis, evolution, mutations that make the host better, star formation) that require a gain of complexity/new information, because a gain of complexity/new information is impossible due to the 2nd law/Adamic Sin Curse. NONE OF IT has ever been proven to be possible, much less observable/demonstrable via any scientific experiment.
      4. A cell can't from from “Primordial Soup” and have with it the DNA blueprints for 10 million species. THIS IS REQUIRED if you're going to get 10 million species from a cell.
      5. There is no transitional evidence on any fossil or living specie. NEVER has there been new anatomy differing from ancestry. The gene pool of ancestry is the limit of variation and is another fact that makes evolution impossible.
      6. Atheists finding some extinct animal, saying it’s “TRANSITIONAL” and placing it in some assumed pattern and calling such a fact for evolution, is not science whatsoever, but SPECULATIVE ASSUMPTION, which is all atheism really is. You have to BELIEVE in evolution and the rest of the ideas of atheism (e.g. big bang, abiogenesis, mistakes (mutations) gaining in complexity/new information, star formation), because nobody has ever seen it. Yet TRUE NATURE (e.g. gravity, flower bloom, reproduction, sunshine) is readily observed. Try to learn.

      *Even if Science someday supplants Evolution as the foremost theory for life on earth with one that better supports the data, that doesn't mean theists have met their burden of proof. They haven't. As a default position, 'That gods must have done it' is ludicrous.*

      1. Mitochondria and chloroplasts have double membranes, unlike typical cells, this indicates that they are a result of the fusion of two membranes. This only makes sense with Endosymbiosis.
      2. Mitochondria and Chloroplasts have their own separate DNA, with their own genes and others borrowed from the host cell. Their genes are similar to those of some bacteria.
      3. Their genomes are stored in a circular fashion just like other Prokaryotes (Bacteria and Archaea) and unlike their host cells.
      4. Mitochondrial DNA is more similar to that of Rickettsial bacteria than that of other bacteria.
      5. Chloroplasts are also very similar to some bacteria, specifically Cyanobacteria.
      6. Both Chloroplasts and Mitochondria reproduce by binary fission and not by mitosis, much like Bacteria and very unlike their host cells.
      The evidence only makes sense if eukaryotes evolved from the union of prokaryotic organisms. This process is called endosymbiosis.
      given that single celled and even early multi-celled organisms would have had a terrible time fossilizing it would be nearly impossible to find any transitional fossil of them, the only exception being stromatolites.

      Talking snakes? Talking donkeys? You believe that humans are blobs of rearranged stardust and thus, you literally believe that stardust can talk :) Either there is a God, in which "talking snakes" and “floods” are no problem, or there isn't a God and you have to explain how the DNA blueprints of 10 million animals came from MINDLESS NOTHING. And How life, intelligence, love, consciousness and morality came from a mud puddle that came from NOTHING, instead of coming by someone who had the INTELLIGENCE, POWER, PURPOSE and MEANS to give these attributes to us in the first place - our living, intelligent, loving, conscious and moral God. Atheism is a stone cold stupid idea that’s not just debunked by these facts, but many others.

      That was my question too. Like okay, I'll let Rick have his theory that "evolution (which he denies) could have given us talking snakes and donkeys" but he has to explain how those snakes and donkeys taught themselves (and/or each other) the language of Adam and Eve - whatever language it was they spoke. Over to you Rick...

    When I was 5 or 6 years old, my parents gave me books about Aesop’s fables, Mother Goose stories, Fairy tales, etc., and almost all of those stories had talking animals. I asked my Dad if animals can really talk, and he told me that it was make-believe (which I later labeled Suspended disbelief). I put those books on my make-believe shelf, along with Mickey Mouse, Peter Rabbit, and Winnie the Pooh. One day my Presbyterian grandmother gave me a book of Bible stories for children. In the very first story, I found a talking snake. That book went straight to the make-believe shelf, where it has remained for over 65 years.
