DUDE!!!!!!!!! How could you have passed up that VHS TMNT Blockbuster **SEALED** AAHHHAAAHHH!!! Dam* it I wish I would have came to visit!! Thank you for sharing brother!! P.S. Secretly, I have that Tiffany cassette tape... just don't tell anyone lol
I love seeing content creators step out and take things to the next level. Because it only solidifies everything theyve done up until that point. Thanks for sharing this event and journey with us Dave. It only expands your retro universe even further.
Billy from the Game Chasers was absolutely star-struck by Dave Z. Did you notice that deer in headlights look he had when Dave was speaking with him? Who can blame him when he is standing next to the often imitated, but never duplicated retro-awesomeness that is Dave Z. from Dave's Archives. 😄🌭🍻🕹🎮🎱
Great stuff Dave! I wasn't much of a console gamer when I was a little kid. I started off playing PC games, like the old DOS games in the early to mid 90s. It wasn't until Christmas 1997 when I did get my first gaming console, a Nintendo 64. My wife is the one that got me into retro gaming several years ago. She owned several gaming consoles over the years when she was little.
that was cool to see! $25 for f-zero SFC (only missing the manual) seemed like a pretty good deal. the mrs. and I live just outside san diego, though I don't know of any conventions like that near us (and i can guarantee you SDCC is waaaay out of our budget, haha) so I always get envious seeing these! but it looked like a blast so much cool retro stuff and more games than you could shake a stick at.
@@DavesArchives I just finished watching the documentary about the original versions of the G4 Network and Attack Of The Show. The name of the documentary is "Attack Of The Doc". It was directed by Chris Gore. I enjoyed it!
Thanks for taking us along with you, Dave. Just what I needed to take my mind off losing another icon from my childhood today

Thanks Dave, that looked like fun. Seeing all of that retro merch took me back to the 80's. Fun times.
Awesome video and like this style too Dave. So many nostalgic memories with a bunch of the stuff you filmed.

Thanks Dave. I was digging the background music 🎵🎶🎵🎶✌️😎
Pasa-get-down-dena! Where everything smells and tastes like oil. I'd still go to something like this, if I still lived out near that way.
That must of been such a cool little trip back in time 🫶🏼
I would love to check this place out someday. That's my kinda heaven!
I still have my old 8-bit Nintendo and ~80 games or so; my husband and I were just playing Tetris on it last week LOL
You’ve gotta check out the big one in Arlington in September
I must learn to flex my pecks so I can find retro games!

I definitely woulda made an offer on those chili dogs.
Guess this can be considered the retro version of E3..speaking of which, shame the 2023 version wont be happening
Just a side note...Link was a member of the NRA?
It seems like it was a bit underwhelming. Still cool they are trying to keep retro gaming alive.
Damn u look way different outside of ur utube studio lol
Prices are absurd at these cons
Those Game Chaser guys are buttholes. The Toy Chasers are much better. Especially that Melvor guy. He seems pretty awesome.
I must agree !
