Looking forward to visiting the night market when I'm next in Bali and stocking up on shorts and shirts for the men in the family. Wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for your videos! Keep up the great work, Bec and Matt!
Best driver ever , used him for my granddaughter to go alone to wash the elephants and for a week for 6 of us to see Ball, very knowledgeable and a reliable, safe, trustworthy man ,and very pleasant.
It's very unique, Its either a love or hate market. it's not for everyone, Matt loves it , Me not so much but it's very very local, Local price Matt tells me haha. Be warned though the smell and tight spaces can be bit overwhelming but if your a real bargain hunter than it has some bargains and you will shop where the locals shop. Be sure to let us know . Thanks for feedback.
Thank you so much for your shopping videos. Very informative. Do they have both rip curl and Billabong t-shirts in the night markets including extra large sizes?
Being local, mainly sizes that suited to local Balinese, so in general not too large. As to brands, being a market, one time they can then next time could have nothing. Its a unique experience and definitely not for everyone. Matt loved it , me not soo much. Too stinky for me. So like typical markets, sometimes you have to try and as for clothing at markets are hit & miss. Thanks for feedback
Hi bec & matt, in your travels through the market, did you notice if there was a decent amount of large sized clothes for us bigger guys , like 3xl 4xl ?
Sadly , i would say less likely due to more they cater for locals, Im sure you would find some stuff there but i would say it would be very limited range to be honest. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback Would recommend 100% genuine fake shop in Legian , they have bigger size no issues if that helps.
Yes it is , Very cheap prices as it's mainly locals, Hardly any tourist go there. It's pretty dirty and can smell but you can hunt down some bargains if your game. Yes open every night from 6pm to about midnight. Read my description on the video as it can be overwhelming to some people. For the record Matt loved it, Bec didn't like it. so if you go let us know but be prepared to hunt down a bargain but for some people its bit too much. Thanks for feedback.
We used our driver (Made), for about 4 hrs, he took us there, he parked and waited there for us, I would say we stayed there for about 90 mins but could easy spent another 90 mins there.. Recommend use a driver as it makes it easy. If your a shopper, use a driver for longer, as there are malls worth looking in Denpasar. Hope it helps. Thanks for feedback.
Hi , In the video at around the 21 second mark there's a google map of the market and time to get there from Kuta (approx 30 min) Markets are called Denpasar or Kreneng night market. I would suggest getting a driver to take you there and the driver will happily wait for you while you shop, As getting a taxi from there could be problematic (i havn't tried ) might be able to get a Bluebird or Grab but i can not say for sure. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback. The address is around the 7:12 min of video but its well known by name.
Hi, price's are all local price not tourist price, these markets are not touristy, can be overwhelming from smell, dirtyness and being the only foreigners there, but there is cheap prices especially for men and boys, not as much for women. We just took a group of ours there and lasted 30 mins as they found it overwhelming. So if your up for a challenge go for it, but its not your average tourist market. Thanks for feedback.
I thought it was a great shopping experience! Be patient with the owners of the stalls, very limited or nil English speaking. They would utilise a calculator to show you the price to pay or place the clothing under the price sign for you to add up. Maths/numbers the universal language 😊 I will definitely head back again to night markets.

Just wondering do you get a cab there or get the driver to drop you and pick you up? How long do you spend there?

In English, apostrophes are not used to make plurals. Or it would be plural’s and so on.
Been to bali so many times and didn't know about this market, is it better than kuta markets please, love your videos, heading back in feb

We loved it too, Thanks for feedback we appreciate it.
As I'm watching this, I get the feeling I may have been there :/
Appreciate the feedback, Great place for a bargain.
Too many people promoting drivers 😮
He's our driver, would only recommend a driver that we can vouch for, no obligation to book him. Thanks for feedback
