Pasar Seni Kumbasari : maps.app.goo.g...
Situated : Jl. Gajah Mada, Pemecutan, Kec. Denpasar
Julie & Vince here, Interesting guys. Vince loves fish market smells, often it's where you were bought up. As a small kid Vince lived in an oyster fishing town in Kent UK,
That's a great story, Julie & Vince, a great connection for him to the fish market in Bali. He would be in his element here, The smell can be unique and would not suit everyone, Only the meat and fish area. The fruit area is lovely.
It's not touristy but if you want to see the real culture and everyday living of the Balinese then well worth a visit, We really enjoyed it, (Made) pronounced Marday our driver , Lovely man he took us and was very helpful walking with us around the market.
Thanks for your feedback.
can see a lot of that being grown on the Batur mountain sunrise tour beautiful to see being grown :)
Its great that Bali grows alot of it's own food, How did you rate the Batur sunrise tour? , As we have never done that.
Thanks for feedback.
@@BecMattAdventures me and my gf done it and we loved it very well looked after by the tour guide in our own jeep driven by him took plenty of photos for my and my gf I loved it the sunrise was amazing :) we got picked up and dropped off back to our hotel :)

Thanks for feedback.
Very interesting Bec & Matt - thanks for sharing the tour of the market. I'm with you Bec, I would definitely skip the meat floor - I even had to fast-forward that part of the video. Being an avid animal lover sucks sometimes, but some people can handle it.
Thank you Cheryl, We are big animal lovers too, But understand animals die to supply our meat , I made Matt to keep that part short but wanted to make people aware if they ever went what to expect.
Its different to us as mainly shop maybe 1 or 2 times a week , They mainly duck in and get it fresh daily.
Thanks for feedback.
@@BecMattAdventures And I didn't mean for my comment to be offensive in any way - I was just commenting on the way my stupid brain works. I still enjoyed your video & look forward to the next one 😊😊
Totally get what you mean, we never took it in any negative way. As im with you , I couldn't walk in there , matt struggled but said it had to be done.
We are softies when it comes to animals and food supply.
Thanks for feedback.

We are in Bali now from Cape Town South Africa. We have used all your tips and suggestions and they are great thank you% We have been here for 10 days already. We love your honest reviews. Just arrived in Kuta today. Staying in Legian.
Wow you have come along way. Glad the tips are working for you as we want people to have a positive experience going to Bali. What do you love and what don't you like so far?
Have a great time, As we wish we were back in Bali now, Sadly back home working for a living haha.
Thanks for feedback.
Great video, love a traditional bali market❤
The best! The real Bali.
Thanks for feedback.
Kumbasari market or Badung market ??
@@niluhmadesriarpini1942 My belief is badung is close by but im asking Bobo (local to tell me the difference or they the same)
Will report back to you.
I think those grapes looked a bit to pristine to be local produce, plus at 4.26 there is a box that says Australian Table grapes"
Cant believe everything locals say :)
Great pickup , They fooled us.
Thanks for feedback.
I always go to this market for my groceries lol
i was just editing this video Bobo when you released your market video haha.
Had to give you a mention in the video.
Thanks for feedback.
Bobo , Can you confirm , Is that Kumbarsari market , and Badung market next door?
or are they same same?
Thanks
Your the man who would know.
@@BecMattAdventures Its all Kumbasari Market . Badung is the name of the regency
Thanks Bobo. Much appreciated
@@BecMattAdventures no worries guys
I think Made wanted to carry your purchases to make some money.
Your probably correct, She didn't show it that she wanted anything but with service and charm like she did , How could you not support her. She made the whole event very memorable.
Thanks for feedback.
Well why not give her 5 dollars for the tour, i would
We gave her 100K Rp ,$10 AUD for her time even though she did not ask for anything.
Thanks for feedback.
We went there once had a lady follow us everywhere, at the end she wanted us to pay her
Like most places in Bali , Locals see tourists as cash cows, Saying that our Made (Marday) was so lovely and didn't ask for a thing . We really enjoyed it.
Thanks for feedback.
❤
Thank you.
Hope they paid her for the tour
Yes in the video you see Bec gives her a donation for her service.
