Yes we recommend balisim2u.com/products/bali-lite-plan , balisim2u 20 gig indosat sim card for 190K , $19 Aud , or 10 pound uk, all on website, can contact them via website or facebook messenger , They come to your hotel and setup its super easy. How we usually do it, book 2 sims 1 for Bec and 1 x for matt, we tell them we arrive at 11am they turn up at our hotel at 2pm and setup, can pay prepay or pay when they install ( local currency if you pay them when install) , alot of plans to suit your needs. We booked through agoda. Was just there cheapest rooms, we struggle to pay anything over 1 million rupiah ($100 Aud) we booked deluxe room with brekky. Paid $99.42 Aud Always looking for a deal. We check Agoda,Expedia, booking,trip.com and hotel direct website. Most times agoda seems to come out on top. I know the rooms be better at 2 million but that's alot extra than we would pay. Thank you Cheryl, We are big animal lovers too, But understand animals die to supply our meat , I made Matt to keep that part short but wanted to make people aware if they ever went what to expect. Matt is a experience rider , So no issues for us, Driving locally is easy as you rarely drive above 30km a hr due to traffic in Bali. Like anything if you drive defensive and don't be a idiot, Great way to get around the local area. Hi Catherine, Thank you for your kind words. As to what we use, We started with a DJI OSMO action 3 video camera (There is a action 4 out now) , Good but struggled at night and bright lights, due to the sensor on the camera, So we upgraded to a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (great video camera for blogging - Recommended, We bought the creator combo pack) comes with wireless mic and better sensor.than action 3. Stayed away from using phone as we use phone for day to day usage while in Bali. (didn't want hassle trying to juggle to try and use it for both) As for editing , i am just self taught (thanks to youtube) and use a free program called Capcut ( Its same company that owns tiktok) and find its pretty good. Theres some great tutorials on using that editing program. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback

Not what we are aware of, Bali airport is controlled by the taxi mafia, I believe gojek is not allowed but can not say for sure. I know Klook is available but easiest and cheapest we found is our trick. Worked every time for us. As for everything else we find it's alot harder than it's need to be. Jumping in a bluebird at departures is easy and super cheap and not complicated. Hope this helps. If you do it another way be sure to let us know and see how you get on. Thanks for feedback. I know grab is available at airport, dearer than our way but that option is available as well.

@@BecMattAdventures Angkul Angkul only had one flaw - there is no hot water in the rooms on the upper floor. Other than that, it was perfect.

Thankyou for your kind words. KBC is a great choice, highly recommend and great for a group. We have stayed in many hotels in Kuta and legian and as a group its top rated, Febris is another great hotel ( budget friendly) those be our top 2 for a group. As to Legian champung mas is pretty good but we would recommend either Baleka resort & spa or Three brothers bungalows both in legian and good position. Our personal choice is Baleka, same same but different like KBC. Both Three brothers and Baleka are price friendly and very good. Saying that champung mas is fine but we rate it lower to other 2. Our opinion only though. Hope this helps do searches and price checks as they usually sit around $50 - $60 a night per room and are like KBC We use multiple sites to get best deals but mains ones we price check are Agoda,Expedia, booking, and trip.com and always check hotel site sometimes they can be expensive or cheapest options.
