Thanks again for your efforts. Has helped us a lot since we started to follow your channel. Keep it up, Please!!!
Thank you , Matt just said , Its music to his ears when viewers can see the value in what we see. We all love spending money but like you , why spend extra when you can spend less and still meet your expectations. We appreciate your support and love hearing our viewers enjoying our videos. Thanks again and to 2025. Thanks again
Adys seems like a great price for the location I’ll have to check it out as I always stay around that area. Thanks for the tip and another great vid. When Mat said budget accommodation I was thinking a bean bag on the beach for 50k😜😂😂
Oh please don't tell Matt that , He will love that idea for 50k haha, Adys inn is great, Be sure to check it out and if your after location on Garlic lane, Also we can say it was quiet , as we had concerns of noise due to some pubs being around there but it was peaceful. Be sure to let us know if you rate it. Great position but super quiet. We appreciate your support and Happy 2025 to you.
Thankyou both for your information, some of this has been quite helpful, wish you both a Health and happy new year and looking forward to more content in 2025. Were at the Adi Dahrma kuta very good price (for matt) clean hotel and exellent Breakfast. Around $50 a night mid year. Enjoy🎉

Great video as always single mum I only travel budget so this is very helpful. The last few trips I’ve stayed at Kusnadi and Baleka is on my list for next time. I often travel with a 12 year old so this is very helpful

G'day Bec and Matt. I used to stay at a different hotel every time I visited Bali, however that changed once I discovered Jesen's Inn 2. Looking at this video, I reckon many of the featured hotels are better value than Jesen's. However, there's one thing about Jesen's that you can't put a price on: the attitude of their staff. They are always polite and attentive, and I know when I return in February they'll remember me. It just feels like home when I walk through their front gate.
It’s great to hear about hotels that go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome! We will give it a try in 2025 James, we had a walk in but did not stay. Once you build that connection it's hard to beat. We plan to give it a go. Thanks James and happy new year 2025.
We would love too, Sadly we dont live in Bali and between work and everyday life we just run out of time. Hopefully 1 day when we scale back work for a living will give us a better chance to see and review more in those areas. For short term sadly we wont be able to get to those areas to properly review and recommend places. Sorry we can not be more of a help. Thanks for feedback.
Hi Bec and Matt, Just reaching out to seek your advice on how you both protect your passports while travelling….. We are planning our trip next month and have seen some options as not all places are safe to leave your passport in the rooms safety deposit box - any guidance will be welcomed 🙏🏼
Hi, Great question. We are mindful of our passports but not afraid of being stolen. Our golden rules regarding Passports is this. We first have copies of passports on our phones each, Each of us have both peoples passports on our phones, We also for back up , Email them to ourselves for last last back up and can retrieve them if we ever need to if it all goes pear shape. If the place where we stay have safe in room our at front desk, We always store them there. If that's a no go , we will carry our own in a sealed section of our day to day bag and carry them with us, We usually have them protect in a waterproof sleeve. We only do this option if it's last resort. Hope it helps Have a great trip and be sure to touch base to tell us what you loved and what you didn't. Thanks for feedback.
Would love you to do a reciew of the Adhi Jaya Kuta , best location, not to bug, but the best part is yhe service and food quality for dinner in the resturant. See what you think, all the staff are special
Stayed there in 2023, Good hotel, just missed our cut on our list. Nothing wrong with it. We did stay in the older rooms when we stayed there and noticed the other side was newer. Overall a good smaller hotel and no real complaints. We had a meal in the i think its called Beras Merah, Good no complaints but did not wow us. Very good middle of the road. Thanks for feedback
Lovely hotels , Know them very well. These hotels are like $140 to $180 a night and that's not even peak season. Lovely hotels but not in Budget Accommodation range sadly. Compare that to $50 a night hotel, 10 nights @ $150 night = $1500 AUD 10 nights @ $50 night = $500 AUD = $1000 AUD saving Great hotels but don't meet the budget criteria. Thanks for feedback.

Gdday guys. Enjoying your latest vid. What do you think of Simpang Inn. I haven't stayed there since 2010. I've booked a month in Feb. Usually stay at Sayang Maha Mertha .but it fell victim to covid. And hey thanks for the vids on Nusa Lembongan. Heading over for a few days also. Happy New Year 🎊 and thanks for the great vids
Glad you enjoy the vids, As to simpang inn, just a run of the mill hotel for the money you pay Sadly it didn't make our top 7 ( we stayed there pre covid) . We think there are better options but please let us know what you think. In around that price and quality we recommend Arnaya homestay our no 3 but you can always drop in and view it yourself and see what you think. Hi guys love love your videos. Can you tell me if there’s a lot right near Kuta beach club such as shopping massages and restaurants like there is in legisn st. Booking for a group of 9 and the younger adults ones like things close by
Yes, there is. Massages, beach about 300m, food places, waterbomb park 5 mins walk, kuta square, discovery mall 5 min walk, timezone games, shops, beachwalk shopping centre 10 min walk , fabulous area. Chef bagus ribs, kak rebo no 1 rated warung. The list goes on on on. Lippo mall 15 min walk is cinemas. We rate it. Very family friendly area. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback.
Of the hotels you have selected for budget - groups and families - Away Camakila wins hands down being its location and beachfront. Big rooms also very attractive for families with interconnecting rooms a handy feature. The rest a not so leisurely walk to the beach in the heat with kids etc not ideal and the others look a little older.
Good point, main issue is price. Being double the price of others away camakila offers those features you mentioned, As we are trying to keep budget friendly, the others are half the price. That's why we kept it in our top 4 for people to offer variety. I will say Febris is very family friendly and the price is excellent and we know how clean it is. Why Kuta beach club is no 1 for us, Price friendly, kid friendly and 150m from beach , it ticks all the boxes. Saying that away is still a excellent choice. Main feature was being budget friendly on your wallet. We appreciate your feedback and are good valid points. Thanks for feedback.
Hey Bec and Matt could u possibly do a review on a hotel in Bali called Radha Kuta Bali We coming there in April and was staying there :) thanks We watch all your videos thanks for all your help guys ❤happy new year 😊
Thank you for your kind words, Radha we know well, Its right next to Puspa Ayu villas and Arnaya Homestay, We stayed there in 2018 and was ok , not great but not bad. Good middle of the road. We will check them out and report back to you on our verdict, Will be around Mid Feb. Stay tuned We will let you know on our updated visit. Thanks for feedback.
We can , just i would doubt the video be released in time for you to come over. We will go check it out, if they allow us to video we will if not we will report back with our findings and give you our feedback. As a budget conscious traveller, we will give you a decent review if we think its worth staying. Stay tuned. Even if we can do a video short to give you a idea. Leave it with us.
For the couple or solo I would go Adys Inn again largely due to location. Beautiful traditional grounds. The Komang in Sanur is west of bypass which is not very convenient at all.
Adys inn is excellent and if it made our list you know it will be good. The location is very handy if you want to be in the hustle and bustle, Yes Komang is west side of Hwy but soooo worth it, Sometimes being out the rat race is lovely and this little homestay is a real gem and making No 2 it is soo worth the stay and at $40 a night its great on the budget and a great local family, dad always there to meet you with a smile. Fantastic and one of those hidden gems. Worth trying you would be impressed. Pro tip , all the great warungs are on west side of the hwy in Sanur. Thanks for feedback.
yeah great video guys, well done, we will be back oct 25 and staying at our usual piece of paradise, the banksia suites Bali, it's a higher priced room, but our favourite, no kids and couples only, if you are over in october hit me up and come do a video on it, the owner, mark, probably wouldnt mind, fantastic guy from perth
Thanks for the recommendation, we'll definitely keep it in mind! Direct from website, Suite - AUD160 per night - 2024 Rates to June 2025 Please Note: Our minimum stay is 5 nights. If you require a shorter stay - please email us directly as we may be able to accommodate you if a suite is available during that period. We can only accommodate a total of 8 guests at any one time. We do not allow or have folder beds available. MAXIMUM 2 GUESTS PER SUITE PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN UNDER 18 Great option for couples who prefer no kid option. They really look nice, Will show Matt , Might have a heart attack though. Thanks dean Happy 2025 to you. Great position as well, Sadly we wont be in Bali oct 25 but might call in and say hello and have a squizz.
We look around for best price, Main companies we use are in no particular order are Agoda , Expedia , Booking or Trip.com and always check hotel website and compare , Sometimes we book 3 months in advance or 1 day in advance. Alot of times booking closer to date of travel works out cheaper but always looking for lowest price. Can be big differences between booking sites. Hope this helps. Thanks for feedback.
We are out of Brisbane, We use Jetstar whenever there is a sale 99% of the time, You have to be quick to get seats when there is a sale, For lowest possible price we fly when Jetstar tells us to fly, (Meaning if cheap sale fares are like from 21st July to 6th Sept ) Then we fly within that period, If you want to fly a certain date EG like xmas for school holidays then there is no cheap fares. We always use Jetstar and usually get fares return for around $350 AUD on sale. Good luck hunting. Thanks for feedback.
@@leighyarnall7346 Watch our Bali Airport video for getting a taxi, Few options there. RUclips video ruclips.net/video/aJiLrbB3SKA/видео.html Hope it helps. (Its only about 10 mins from the airport.)
Hey guys thanks for your videos Just checking your prices - do you work on price per head or for the night per couple Ie checked out the kuta beach club and it's 105 per night for 2 pple...?
Always work on night per couple, Not sure where your looking and when your going. I just did a random date in Febuary and at the moment its about $72 per couple with Agoda but sometimes Matt just wait for a good deal and times he gets it for $55 or so or $60 but depend on time of year i gather too. We price check everywhere , Some of the main booking sites we use are Agoda,Booking,Expedia or Trip.com and always check hotel direct too as can get some cheap prices. Matt is always chasing a good deal and will book 6 months out if prices are good (he always checking ) but also will book a week out at times to get a good deal ( You run the risk of leaving it to late though , Matt is just a tightwad though) So hunt around, But i gather school holidays or busy periods you will always pay more, We always travel out of those periods. Hope this helps, If we can be of help call out and will get Matt onto it :D Thanks for feedback.
Your 100% correct Rhonda, we call the owner mama Sulis, as she lives at sulis hotel. Green garden been shut for 4 years and after reno , opened with lift and cater to couples. All 3 hotels are super clean and highly recommend. As green garden is smaller hotel , which we favour. Thanks and happy 2025 to you.
Sadly , at the moment we can not sorry, we stayed pre covid in ubud but it wasn't for us for various reason, accommodation wasn't 1 of them as im sure there is some great spots there. Just we are not experts in that area sorry. Thanks for feedback.
1 month would not be long term really for Bali, Pretty much just weekly rate for 4 weeks, We move around if we are doing 4 weeks in Bali. Lucky going for a month. Have a great trip.
Thanks for the tip :D, We are great butchering languages , Hopefully we can keep improving and maybe 1 day master it, We are very amateurish. Thanks will take it on board. Funny we just got pulled up on our Candiasa video saying why are you calling it Chandiasa when its Candiasa :D Can never win haha. All in good fun. Thanks for feedback.
$105 AUD with brekky for tomorrow for me im seeing on the net. We don't control hotel pricing . I would assume prices move depending the time you go. If you like to email us , Happy to show you the paperwork we paid $99.20 AUD for a night.
@JLaw2345 we want people to have trust in us , also we don't control hotel pricing , the Australian dollar and Indonesian rupiah, and time of the year you book. ( gather they have peak periods) Just always want to be transparent and honest to our viewers. Thanks for understanding and your support ❤️ ❤️
@BecMattAdventures I love it use to stay pre coved with the family. Now first time back with partner. Who loves it as well. Nice modifications done and will be better as more people come back. Close to some food shops. And Febris fir treatments. Breakfast us just enough to get the day started. Would come back. But do like the look af KBC though. Do they have lifts?
@@ShaunBrown-g3u Yes rooms near pool , that have 3 levels, But out the back 2 levels , No lifts but just ask for a ground floor if mobilty is a issue. Love how green garden added lifts. Glad you like them. Being shut for 4 years been hard on us as we are big green garden fans
@BecMattAdventures thanks .. yes green garden holds a lot in my heart. Suri is like family and my youngest daughter and Devi Suri daughter always played together and went to church etc. So seeing both if them was like coming g home. We are in the top floor in the old spa rooms that have just been finished so over look the pool and the new lawn section unfortunately only 2 more days then head home. Keep up the good videos
@@ShaunBrown-g3u Yes know those Spa rooms, as they were not quiet finished when we were there, Suri is lovely and whole hotel is special to us. Love to hear other people know this hotel like us. Thanks for your support and enjoy your last bit in Bali.
I stayed in Yulia Beach Inn for 6 weeks. I cannot recommend. My least hotel ever in Kuta. Hotel had little to no ambiance. And when you exit the hotel the salesmen just outside the Hotel jump you to buy stuff and they be rude too. Never ever again.
Thats a shame, we did not rate their standard rooms but rate there premiere deluxe rooms. Yes agree about those guys in the shops nearby, found them to be the same, use to ignore and walk by. Did not hassle us. We thought the ambience was lovely, set of the busy street, but hey everyone is different. Was our no 7 , good hotel but not our no1. Green garden im sure you would be very happy. We appreciate the feedback.
Dude where you show it is totally slums area even not worth 50$ , we went in 2025 so month cost me US5k$ in very low level life style , (~ 3k$ very small house in pererenan - they call “villa “ but is cage 200m2 all lands with building, gardens , you can't pass each other freely in the garden is a joke not villa ! ( for example in south Europe we buying for own 100% land with house for renovation price start even from 2k€ > , we met many Ukrainian they got 10 houses like that lol - amazing vacation + build assets ) Food in restaurants is same price like in Europe but portion half , mostly all products low quality , you can even enjoy your daily wine is 100$ where in Europe 5$ lol , whisky same 100$ in Europe 12$ , so have to use shit low level things , even beer bintang is the lower level beer outside top 100 world beers cost in supermarket 3,5$ where in german the best German beer 0,6$ , ( so food I spend US 2k$ without my daily thinks what I mentioned. Other attractions 2k$ + fly 1500$ so totally is astronomical amount for that low level vacation and the weather is horrible 1 months 28days only rain can’t do anything or if not rain hot 40 degrees can’t even walk comfortably all day sweaty lol
Your prices need to be updated, the Away the cheapest I can see is $94 AUD a night, Balaka again $78 AUD + at this stage I gave up watching... you need to update the prices or else all of the information in you video is useless
Sorry to hear that, We have stayed all of these places in the video in 2024 , I'm not sure where your looking for prices and the dates you want to travel, We can only go on what we paid, Away seems great at $94 as we paid $99 ( That was a luxury stay for us and happy to spend bit more when the buffett brekky was included ), Belaka we paid $55 i believe no brekky . We always hunt around for a deal (Well Matt does ) , I'm sure some prices fluctuate with seasons and holidays but we can only report on what we paid. We don't tell porkies and have receipts for hotels on what we paid. (One thing we pride ourselves is what we tell our viewers is the truth) We use in general, Agoda,Booking,Expedia, Trip.com and sometimes the hotel website direct and always looking for a good deal , we don't control the pricing but Matt is always looking for a deal (times he books hotel 6 months in advance and times he books hotel 3 days in advance) , Depends on what he considers a good deal. We don't travel in peak periods EG, Xmas , Easter or school holidays Hope this can be of help , Sorry if the video does not live up to your expectations. Bec
That is a stupid comment the prices in Bali can change week to week and even day to day. Depending on time of year what website do you use to book it or if you go direct etc. To suggest the video is useless because of that is silly you still need to do some of your own research but these give you a good guide of some excellent budget accommodation and it's being provided to you for free.

Thanks you for your kind words.
Hope the video can be of help for great accommodation in Bali.
Thanks for feedback.
Those are very great recommendation. Thank you😊
Thanks for watching and hope you find it useful!
Thanks for feedback.
Hey Bec and Matt could u possibly do a review on a hotel in Bali called Radha Kuta Bali
We coming there in April and was staying there :) thanks
We watch all your videos thanks for all your help guys ❤happy new year 😊
Thank you for your kind words, Radha we know well, Its right next to Puspa Ayu villas and Arnaya Homestay, We stayed there in 2018 and was ok , not great but not bad. Good middle of the road.
We will check them out and report back to you on our verdict, Will be around Mid Feb. Stay tuned
We will let you know on our updated visit.
Thanks for feedback.
Thanks guys x really appreciate it ❤
Hey guys Anychance u can do that hotel review for us if they allowed it at Radha hotel Kuta

Great position as well, Sadly we wont be in Bali oct 25 but might call in and say hello and have a squizz.
Love the videos! Who do you book through?
We look around for best price, Main companies we use are in no particular order are
Agoda , Expedia , Booking or Trip.com and always check hotel website and compare , Sometimes we book 3 months in advance or 1 day in advance. Alot of times booking closer to date of travel works out cheaper but always looking for lowest price.
Can be big differences between booking sites.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for feedback.
My second home Kuta beach club. Been staying there since my first trip in 1980 aged 14.
You would have noticed a big change around Bali compared to 1980 to know.
For value its excellent.
Thanks for feedback.
Excellent areal footage , thanks for sharing. Like77 Happy Week Up'n'Down-Traveling
Thank you! You too!
hi great info got tips on flights from adelaide to get there
lee
We are out of Brisbane, We use Jetstar whenever there is a sale 99% of the time, You have to be quick to get seats when there is a sale, For lowest possible price we fly when Jetstar tells us to fly, (Meaning if cheap sale fares are like from 21st July to 6th Sept ) Then we fly within that period, If you want to fly a certain date EG like xmas for school holidays then there is no cheap fares.
We always use Jetstar and usually get fares return for around $350 AUD on sale.
Good luck hunting.
Thanks for feedback.
@ thanks one more thing best way from airport to green garden hotel
@@leighyarnall7346 Watch our Bali Airport video for getting a taxi, Few options there.
RUclips video ruclips.net/video/aJiLrbB3SKA/видео.html
Hope it helps. (Its only about 10 mins from the airport.)
Hey guys thanks for your videos
Just checking your prices - do you work on price per head or for the night per couple
Ie checked out the kuta beach club and it's 105 per night for 2 pple...?
Always work on night per couple, Not sure where your looking and when your going.
I just did a random date in Febuary and at the moment its about $72 per couple with Agoda but sometimes Matt just wait for a good deal and times he gets it for $55 or so or $60 but depend on time of year i gather too.
We price check everywhere , Some of the main booking sites we use are Agoda,Booking,Expedia or Trip.com and always check hotel direct too as can get some cheap prices.
Matt is always chasing a good deal and will book 6 months out if prices are good (he always checking ) but also will book a week out at times to get a good deal ( You run the risk of leaving it to late though , Matt is just a tightwad though)
So hunt around, But i gather school holidays or busy periods you will always pay more, We always travel out of those periods.
Hope this helps, If we can be of help call out and will get Matt onto it :D
Thanks for feedback.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Keep up the great work Bobo.
You guys Rock!! My partner and I enjoy all your helpful information looking forward to more content thanks Matt and Bec
Thanks so much for the support, we appreciate it!
Thanks for feedback.
Green garden is part of Febris and Sulis
Your 100% correct Rhonda, we call the owner mama Sulis, as she lives at sulis hotel.
Green garden been shut for 4 years and after reno , opened with lift and cater to couples.
All 3 hotels are super clean and highly recommend.
As green garden is smaller hotel , which we favour.
Thanks and happy 2025 to you.
Could you recommend some for Ubud? Thank you
Sadly , at the moment we can not sorry, we stayed pre covid in ubud but it wasn't for us for various reason, accommodation wasn't 1 of them as im sure there is some great spots there.
Just we are not experts in that area sorry.
Thanks for feedback.
@ thank u
how to find long term accommodation..for a month...🤗
1 month would not be long term really for Bali, Pretty much just weekly rate for 4 weeks, We move around if we are doing 4 weeks in Bali.
Lucky going for a month. Have a great trip.
Guys the letter Cis said as ch in Indonesian which makes the Camakila hotel pronunciation Chamakila !
Thanks for the tip :D, We are great butchering languages , Hopefully we can keep improving and maybe 1 day master it, We are very amateurish.
Thanks will take it on board. Funny we just got pulled up on our Candiasa video saying why are you calling it Chandiasa when its Candiasa :D
Can never win haha.
All in good fun.
Thanks for feedback.
Away Camakila. Cheapest room $120AU per night.
$105 AUD with brekky for tomorrow for me im seeing on the net. We don't control hotel pricing . I would assume prices move depending the time you go.
If you like to email us , Happy to show you the paperwork we paid $99.20 AUD for a night.
Thanks guys. I believe you. Great vlog, great choices.
@JLaw2345 we want people to have trust in us , also we don't control hotel pricing , the Australian dollar and Indonesian rupiah, and time of the year you book. ( gather they have peak periods)
Just always want to be transparent and honest to our viewers.
Thanks for understanding and your support ❤️ ❤️
I'm at green garden now
Shaun, Whats your review on it? is it worth of the top position?
We think so but keen to hear what you think.
Thanks for feedback.
( for example in south Europe we buying for own 100% land with house for renovation price start even from 2k€ > , we met many Ukrainian they got 10 houses like that lol - amazing vacation + build assets )
Food in restaurants is same price like in Europe but portion half , mostly all products low quality , you can even enjoy your daily wine is 100$ where in Europe 5$ lol , whisky same 100$ in Europe 12$ , so have to use shit low level things , even beer bintang is the lower level beer outside top 100 world beers cost in supermarket 3,5$ where in german the best German beer 0,6$ , ( so food I spend US 2k$ without my daily thinks what I mentioned.
Other attractions 2k$ + fly 1500$ so totally is astronomical amount for that low level vacation and the weather is horrible 1 months 28days only rain can’t do anything or if not rain hot 40 degrees can’t even walk comfortably all day sweaty lol
If i was you, i would not come back to Bali.
Maybe Europe is better, some would agree maybe some don't.
Everyone has a options.
Thanks for feedback
people on youtrube really need to turn the music really down or off, when people are talk, can not hear you.
Advice taken, will pass onto Matt and will lower the volume.
Thanks for feedback
(One thing we pride ourselves is what we tell our viewers is the truth)
We use in general, Agoda,Booking,Expedia, Trip.com and sometimes the hotel website direct and always looking for a good deal , we don't control the pricing but Matt is always looking for a deal (times he books hotel 6 months in advance and times he books hotel 3 days in advance) , Depends on what he considers a good deal.
We don't travel in peak periods EG, Xmas , Easter or school holidays
Hope this can be of help , Sorry if the video does not live up to your expectations.
Bec
So true @kparker1615
That is a stupid comment the prices in Bali can change week to week and even day to day. Depending on time of year what website do you use to book it or if you go direct etc. To suggest the video is useless because of that is silly you still need to do some of your own research but these give you a good guide of some excellent budget accommodation and it's being provided to you for free.
