Hi Jean , Matt is no beer drinker but really enjoys a lemon Radler, So you will see him drink these while in Bali, As to Petrol, Matt just told me about 80c a day. I laughed at him but he said if we are there about 10 days , Petrol is about $8 AUD or 80K Rp to have enough petrol for 10 days on average. We only ride around the local area (no large Bali trips)Bit different to Australia. Thanks for feedback.

We go to a lot of your recommendations. Our favourites are Karma Warung - spent a whole arvo there chatting with Putu and had great food of course! Norman Warung, Kak Rebo, Chef Bagus & Santori are our favourites and we go multiple times. We are going back in 2 weeks time and can't wait! Your videos have got us all excited! We are going to watch your other country videos when we get back to plan a trip for next year. I can vouch for Matt, he did not spend anything extra as I wanted him to be over budget. Haha Ill tell you what Matt did, you get water from your room , usually 2 bottles are standard. He used 1 and at massage , they give him 1 bottle part of the service. Rest of time he had drinks with meals and booze at end of day. Wish he had bought more as I didn't want him to achieve his budget. Hope this helps. Oh the problem is too water is like 20c or 30c so even then he had $2.50 left over
well, Bali is cheap, but it would not be that cheap!! Maybe you can do 300000 rupiah per day, but certainly you do not include unexpected event that could occur along the way!! and also you would not eat the exact same food and same place every day too!!
For sure you would want back up for unexpected event, We do this where ever we travel. As to Matt , in our videos Matt is always showcasing the local warungs and local price and he has a list of many warungs to eat at. Also most warungs has a decent variety of food. I would expect Matt would eat at those places a few times in his visit in bali if he was on this budget. The thing is Matt is a tightwad , he would have great joy in showing me how to go to Bali and live on 500K Rp a day. That's music to his ears haha, Not for me , The money Matt saves , I can spend haha. Thanks for feedback.
