We were only there for a few days. As we were transiting through but stayed at a authentic Cambodian hotel called Okay Boutique in Phenon Penh. It will be part of next video. Very comfortable and for about $35 usd or $50 Aud was very comfortable and recommend. Stay tuned and see in next video. Thank you for your kind words.
Going on the Mekong is a highlight we look back on crossing the border that way, will never forget and the food places we reviewed were top notch and well worth eating at. Thanks for feedback.
Hi Colleen, Thanks for your kind words, As for a tailor, Had no experience and honest feedback, there is a few common ones if your in some Bali Facebook pages but we have no dealings with any sorry. We just came back from Bali and will have plenty of videos coming out soon. Stay tuned. Sorry we could not be more of help.
Early on in my stay in Phnom Penh, I visited a shooting range near the airport. I had the option of firing a rocket launcher, but instead the AK-47 was my weapon of choice. What surprised me was the amount of recoil from this gun - my right shoulder was sore for four days. Also could've thrown a grenade as well.
Love it James, We did shooting in the USA and few types of guns, we are not gun people but same as you the recoil took us by surprise, Nothing like the movies. Haha. Cambodia for us felt like the last wild frontier that anything goes. Grenade , Rocket launcher that you could actually do live. Blows your mind. Any desire to go back James or Bali is for you? Thanks for feedback.
@@BecMattAdventures Will certainly get back to Cambodia one day - most likely to the beaches of Sihanoukville. Cambodia does have its seedy side though. When I first arrived, I caught a motorcycle taxi from the airport to my hotel. The driver quickly asked me if I wanted any drugs. I said no, so he then asked if I wanted a lady. Once again I told him no. He then asked if I wanted a young girl - another no from me. It became even sadder when he asked if I wanted a young boy. After another no, he asked me if I liked guns. Finally he got a yes out of me - hence my trip to the shooting range. If you haven't already read it, I recommend you get a book called "Off the Rails in Phnom Penh". It gives a great insight into the dark side of that city. The author is Amit Gilboa.
@@jamesplunkett9567 James thats exactly how we felt there seems to be a dark side of cambodia that's if you want it and can happen. Lovely people that most have nothing but always a smile, Only thing we did felt bit unsafe walking at night compared to rest of asia due to petty crime but still a pleasent experience. Will check your recommendation out on that book. Thanks for feedback. We are only transiting through Cambodia when we did this trip and still good to see it.
always a pleasure watching your video could you recommend some hotel thanks
