Video idea: make a video on how to actually use all of our mobility when throwing. I feel like the best pitchers or throwers use all of their mobility when throwing. Like show how to access all your thoaric rotation and extension, scapula mobility etc.

Spinrate is not just about movement. Higher spinrates also makes it harder for the hitter to pick up the spin.

I've heard this argument as well. Not sure I'm convinced hitters can see the difference between 2100 and 2500 RPM.

@@treadathletics the point is that as spinrates get higher recognizing spin gets tougher or sometimes even impossible. And to be clear, spinrecognition is in large part subconscious and intuitive. There simply is no time for a conscious proces.

@@treadathletics Furthermore, it not about recognizing spinrate, it's about recognizing spin-direction, which helps pitch recognition.

I’m having an issue of me hunching over to the 3rd base side (I’m a RHP). It’s also causing me to have a lower slot. Any solutions?

Shoot us an email, this is a common issue where guys lose their center of gravity into the toes/quad and it leads to a lower release than they might want. Contact@treadathletics.com

What is a good vertical break?

    • @treadathletics

18+ is considered upper range, dependent on release height. 20+ is high vertical break top 20%
