One thing that would be nice to see, is a 3D model of the strike zone and where exactly in that zone the ball passes through. For ex, a curve ball, do you wan that to break heavy before it actually gets to the strike zone so that the batter misses? Or does it pass through the front-bottom end of the strike zone?
3:51 dude, the visuals here finally made it all click! Been following pitcher statcast metrics on savant for about 4 years now. I’ve always researched pitchers’ active spin but never completely understood it. Are all mlb teams using active spin to drive their pitching staffs?
Great video! But… I’m going to need to go back and watch at like quarter speed and pause a lot. If this were like an hour long it would be the holy grail of pitching videos for anyone wondering what the heck these pitches are.
Your channel WILL BE SUCCESSFUL. Keep doing it. This is outstanding information!
It breaks it down in a way that NO OTHER CHANNEL COMES CLOSE TO.
Awesome video. Most of it was way over my head and it’s the basics video haha
This is excellent content - thank you!
