Where was Charlotte
That first ghost train is how I wish all ghost trains were! Disorientated, full of jumpscares and actually dark for once! The spinning looked really effective too
It was absolutely crazy. The best Ghost Train I’ve ever done!
It looks like a parody of itself, and falls into the horror trap of bombardment, which makes each scare lose its impact.
That first ghost train looks absolutely fantastic. Hopefully whoever gets involved in Duel's inevitable reimagining has been on that.

We need to go to Germany or France for better ones. I mean ok it's not that far compared to coast-coast in the US but still a hassle

The first ghost train was absolutely insane... I have loved ghost trains since I was 7 and I can say I would burst into tears on that thing! That was one of the scariest ghost train povs I have ever seen and I've watched tons

Wow !!! One amazing amusement park !! Makes Blackpool pleasure beach and the Nottingham Goose fair look like kids play. Would definitely be on my bucket list to do if I was aged between 16/35. Will watch part 2, looking forward to seeing the extra razzamataz with the lighting etc in the dark. Thanks for showing.
I would love to ride the Hochschaubahn. I love how they keep the older attractions working.

That Maurer Spinning Coaster really reminds me of good old X at Thorpe Park. Love the rave element to it with the lighting!
It was brilliant!
There was an amazing dinosaur themed walk through all with lifts and even simulator without screens, but dino animatronics that attack your seat.
Whoah 😱😱😱 BLIMEY That 1st ghost 👻👻👻😁 train was pretty much insanely disorientating wow 🤩 it’s definately got a load of really cool jump scares inside watching your POV delivered some great onride shots in the dark seeing the actual ride from the riders perspective with so many unexpected surprises along the way what an epic spooktacular ride if only our U.K. parks could have such a big variation of interesting rides like this ghost train along with the other amazing rides, your vlogs never fail to impress they just get better and better so unique and impressive that’s why I’m so privileged to be support your amazing TPWW, adventure Shawn channels which is great being able to relate to you with our theme park passions

A country which I get to visit regularly as family moved to Vienna. Never been to the prater park but am definitely wanting to go now. Looks amazing. Thanks for the VLOGs.
Oh, it truly is amazing! The restaurant you need to go to is either the Schweizerhaus or the Luftburg. You get really good beers and meat there. I would definitely recommend doing all the spinning rides like Ecstasy (yes, it is a ride that spins you at 120 kph and will have you head down in mid-air while spinning you).

@@timtittensor9290 yes they are! Actually, the Schweizer Haus is right next to the Hochschaubahn, when looking at it from inside the Prater, it is on the left. If that one is full, then just go past Hochschaubahn and Schweizer Haus for quite a while. You can ask any visitor where the Luftburg is, so you can find it. Both of them are run by the same czech familiy Kolarik.

oh, and while you are there, try out the Stelze. It is a quite fatty pork chop that got fried so the fat is all soft, melty and crunchy on the outside. Just a little tip from me: try the dubleons, they are amazing! (bigger and more potato-holding than crisps, that we in Austria call chips, and Pommes Frittes or short Pommes are what GB calls chips, I believe.)

Just recently found this channel through your other channel, and I gotta say: I just LOVE your energy man!! Makes watching those vlogs an absolute pleasure.
I grew up in Vienna, and as a kid, the entrance looked completely different. They revamped the park fairly recently (in the early 2010s iirc). Also, regarding the pay-per-ride policy: There's the so-called "Pratercard", a prepaid card where you can pay cashless at certain participating attractions and restaurants.

The scale of the place is crazy. Puts our recent trip to Kirkcaldy Links Market into perspective. The Lang Toun might boast Europe's longest street fair but look at the width and permanence here. Fun time Shawn, even just watching.

What an awesome park...something for everyone and reasonably priced. If I ever find myself in Vienna I'll be sure to give this park a visit for sure! To get a new favourite Boomerang and Ghost train it's well worth the visit!......that Ghost train!!! 😨 😟

The boomerang is the same as cobra Khan that use to be at West Midlands safari park and the missile from American adventure. One of my all time faves

I read in a separate comments section that Gesengte Sau is like an insult thrown at bad drivers in Bavarian regions, translates to reckless pig or similar, that’s why the trains are like little cars. That looks like a great ride too. Wish that Cobra at Paultons was more like that.

Hotel Psycho ghost train without doubt the best ghost train in the world. I have never seen such an intense terrifying ride through that maze of ghosts, psychos, maniacs and ghouls you must have been scared out of your wits on that. Olympia Looping always love seeing that coaster ride. I must try and get to Hyde Park this winter to ride that. Black Mamba definitely not for me no! Great vlog Shawn 👍

I absolutely live this park, it's so different to anything ive seen before! I jumped out of my skin watching the first ghost train lol, I'm not a jump scare person. My favourite was the interactive arctic ride, great props, i like the tourist camera shooter instead of having a gun- thats a fun idea. So cool, cant wait to see more!

It was incredible!
I visited during Interrailing to go on the wheel and when I saw Olympia Looping from the top, I nearly shat myself. I hadn't known it would be there. When the wheel came down I sprinted through the park and everyone was staring at me - 2 friends were there and they called out to me but I was like "Can't stop!" Going on that ride before it ever reached the UK was just surreal!

39:33 If I'm not wrong, that is a Dutch invention. This one obviously owned by a Austrian company, but still, you can rent these in the Netherlands, I'm 99 % sure.

Oh, Vienna for sure is a really beautiful place. Especially the Prater (which is the whole thing, the theme park, which is called "Würstel-Prater" or "Sausage-Prater", and the greens, which are called "Grüner Prater" or "Green Prater"), the Stadtpark right beside the Wien Fluss, the Leinzer Tiergarten with all of its nice hiking paths, the Wiener Wald (Viennese Forrest) with a lot of hiking and walking or strolling possibilities on small paths or paved roads that are disclosed to all traffic.
Hope I could make some good publicity for Vienna, seen as the more beautiful sightings (at least building-wise) are around the "Ring" anyways.

I was waiting for you to go on Hotel Psycho. I'm like you in that I'm pretty much ok on ghost trains but I'll be honest, on that one I had a minor nervous breakdown and needed a minute to calm down after, especially after the head popping in the middle. My ride picture is of me and my friend just hugging each other hoping it would end Hahaha. Best ride at Prater hands down.

Brilliant - really liking the feel of this place - prices so far have been very reasonable perhaps the competitiveness keeps it fair. Was thinking 10 euro most rides tbh - adored the little train ride, costing up a visit ourselves now but might either daytrip it or stay in the slightly better Ibis next door for a little more comfort perhaps
