The older booster mentioned in the video was the newer one. The Kingsize Booster is my favorite. I drove it 18 times. I also like the speed wave. drove 3 times. However, this year 2022 the Olympia Looping will be built there for the third time. I've also ridden the freefall tower 18 times. now in winter it was really a great experience. I'm looking forward to the new season.
4:26 the tidal twist at the Columbus zoo also allows solo rides. So it had great spinning, that final brake hits so hard that the parks warns you about it. I had a bruise for awhile due to that brake
All the games and the atmosphere of the park are great! We went there two days ago with my friends and really enjoyed it. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We are sure to go back.
Fan fact about the Boomerang(number 21): All the coaster of this model offers some of the highest positive G in the world! However I find them painful, uncomfortable, too intense, causing me to feel sick, not interesting, and the reverse prevent running them with more than one train-causing very long waiting. I rode the Kingda Ka and many other coasters which are way more thrilling, but boomerangs cause me to regret every time I try them. *One of the only two coaster in Israel is a Boomerang. The other is a newer(2001) SLC which is surprisingly smooth and fun
Interesting you should say the SLC in Israel runs well. The SLC in Egypt is supposed to be smooth-ish, as well, if El Toro Ryan is to be believed. I wonder if they run better in desert climates?

Next time you visit Wiener Prater you should try the pirate ghost ride "Skull Rock - Fluch der Piraten". It's one of my favorite dark rides and this includes Disney, Universal and Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi.
Some time ago, at a local (and relatively small) carnival, I got to ride a ride dubbed "Energy Storm 3" ... that ride is probably as close as I'll ever get to experiencing Extasy. [the flatride, not the ... other kind]

2:55 - Super-8er-Bahn: Unfortunately, it is no longer available. It was dismantled in March 2023. It might be up to a year before a new roller coaster will be installed and I don't know exactly what will follow.

One of my favorite flatrides (that I have not been on since my last visit to the MN State Fair many years ago) was "Magnum", a Mondial 'Shake' ride. I'm curious of this ride was at Wiener Prater. (I suspect it was, but didn't crack your Top 30.)
The Blumenrad is the better alternative to the famous Riesenrad imo. It is MUCH cheaper, there is little to no waiting time and the view across the Prater and Vienna is just as good. You can even rotate the gondola.
Thos park is a carnival on steroids. It is just full with tons of insane rides and attractions. Some of the best flat rides out there and ok roller coasters. Without a doubt worth visiting this carnival park.
Im really wondering about that 2 person ride high up in the air where you drop down and flip several times, it wasnt on the list so im wondering because i dont know the name, it seemed extremely wild too (when i saw someone else doing it)
I don't do flats, I don't have the stomach for it. But I ended up riding 20 rides at the Prater. I'd probably rank them something like this. Sadly, the best thing I rode there was a visiting travelling ride, but it was pretty close anyway. Nothing I found was truly world-class but, on the flip side, only two of the rides were truly awful. The Funtime tower is only 80 meters high. They lie about the height. Funtime delivers those traveling droptowers with a max of 80 meters. (This droptower was formerly travelling in The Netherlands).

There you get the best austrian specialties like „knuckle of pork“, „Wiener Schnitzel“ (veal and expensive), „Schnitzel Wiener Art“ (Pork and cheap), Langos, Kaiserschmarrn, Germknödel and so on. Is that looping Schwarzkopf still there? I thought that was the best coaster, if for nothing more than those awesome loops. I HATED the flyer. I really thought I was going to fall out the back of the car on the lift if my foot slipped off the ladder thing.

When I rode it, no. But they did a Halloween overlay at one point and that was the only POV I had permission to use. They didn't allow me to film Iceberg when I was there.
@@CanobieCoaster That's true. At least I saw Gotterdammerung in 2009 at the Vienna State Opera Central standing room on the bottom floor where the sound is good (in that venue at least). I also saw Metallica in Frankfurt a couple weeks earlier.
I am not going to lie but that Hotel Psycho looks too frightening to the point where I wouldn't ride it. I think that may be a sign that I am not good with frights.
So sad this park has no ride all day wristband, paying for all the coaster credits will be frustrating after a while tbh, I prefer paying one time and not to be constantly reminded off money... it does looks like fun and what coasters aren't you allowed on?
I agree the lack of a wristband was frustrating. I had to save a large chunk of my Euros for this park. Auto Bergbahn is the only coaster adults cannot ride.
Most European fairs lack a pay-one-price wristband because the rides are operated by different showmen who are independent from one-another. While that can be a problem for riders who may be unable to do as many rides as they want to because it would get too expensive, it does result in better and longer cycles because the showmen have to compete with other showmen for riders.
@@CanobieCoaster Yeah, being Dutch (quite similar to German), I know a bit of German and you can make this pun in Dutch too (achtbaan=rollercoaster). Achterbahn or achtbaan means 'eight-track/run', which refers to the layout of early coasters often being a figure-eight.
Look up the toxic flatride on the dutch fairs. It basically is Extasy but faster and the seats do also flip with the forces of the ride so its even more intense

Mega blitz is very similar, the same model as the knightmare from boblo island now hornet at wonderland
Megablitz has far more power than Hornet though. Trains are the same though.
