NC500 & Isle of Skye Tour Day 2 - Aviemore to Tongue

Day 2 didn't start out as we hoped with a slight technical issue with one of the bikes! Turned into a great day with a bit of mixed weather again.

Enjoying the videos of the trip but just a query re the battery. You mentioned the AA so assuming they attended, could they not have recovered the bike to Inverness Halfords rather than you doing the return journey? I realise they might not have had a trailer etc which would have been more of a delay but just wondered👍

They could but would have needed to wait for a truck to become free which could have been hours from previous experience. We suspected the battery before the AA arrived to confirm so I set off prior to their arrival. It was a 30min run to Inverness so to try save us some time and get us back on the trip asap as we knew they don't carry bike batteries on the vans.
