Impending Doom is an American Metal band from Riverside, California. Formed in 2005, jumped right into the touring lifestyle and gained their success very quickly. The band has released 1 e.p. and 3 full length records, selling over 80,000 records world wide. Signed by Facedown Records from 2007-2010. In 2011 the band signed a deal with eOne Records. I can understand not wanting to mosh...but I can't go to a concert and not headbang...I mean c'mon!
That happens at a lot of shows I go to... me and my bud went to a Meshuggah show last fall and a ton like 75-100 of people were 30s-40s (I was 34 bud was 39) we were all early....dressed properly for the weather and when we got in there...just sat and drooled over polyrythms at 240BPM for 2 hrs....Lol... No head banging or moshing... we got mezzanine seats ($50) because we didn't want to be down on the floor.
This is what happens when you have a professioonal office job and your over 30.... still want the tinnitus but shit aches from injuries in our 20's so you don't wanna mosh (well.... we do... but we know what happens the next day when we do).... I just want to get lost in the live tone and breathe the same are Thomas Haake's kicks are moving... and then go home and get some sleep for work the next morning....
Boring.... sure but it is what but is.... metal for life!!!!

Impending Doom is one of the heaviest bands I've heard in a long long time. There are a few people in front that are jumping around but most of the crowd is just standing there. I sure hope Doom doesn't see crowds like that very often. They deserve WAY more respect. Looking forward to their new album on Nov. 5th!

Lol at the dude @ 1:35 with the inverted cross on his back screaming with a raised fist the lyrics 'in an unseen world, the the anti-christ will fall'. Brah, do you even know what these lyrics mean?
Originally, the inverted cross was to signify Peter's crucifixion. Peter felt unworthy to die in the same manner as Christ, so he was crucified upside down. Later on, people started using that as a sign of Anti-Christ/Christianity. Not sure what the guy's intentions were but just wanted to throw that out there ;)
