that soup was very expensive due to its authenticity
it was harvested to the top of a cave
that bird's nest was actually the saliva of birds
they made nest out of their own saliva
and the harvester come to the peak of the cave just to get that birds nest very special soup
not all can afford to have it

whenever I'm in a Chinese restaurant my staple orders are
1. either yang chow fried rice or salted fish fried rice or machang rice
2. beef with broccoli
3. deer and sour fish
4. salt and pepper spare ribs or squid
5. wash it down with cold chrysanthemum or wintermelon drink
6. for dessert almond lychee

soup base food in most carinderia or restaurant in PH has a less tasty cause your the one that make it perfect for ur taste so always find a fish sauce or soysauce or any condiments that can elevate the taste when eating soup based dish 😂 ... most common local combination is.. fried garlic+soysauce+calamasi+chili and some greens
