I hope the heat will end this May😢 as a Filipino not usual heat we are experiencing the heat Now.
Currently May 19th 2024.
Yes, I really hope so for all the outside workers especially. I really feel for them 🙏
Those slums that you saw on the opposite side of BGC will be relocated to certain places where they can live nicely. The people who live there on the slums area where illegal settlers and the local government is just waiting for the right time for these people to be transported to a place where they can live.
Thanks on that information. I was hoping that they wouldn't be just forced and have to see on their own where they have to go 👍🏾
@@SimsimsamTravels These people have been informed for a long time that they illegally settled on a place owned by the government. The idea of forcing them is the last resort when they refused to vacate the place accordingly and lawfully.
Came here through a good irl friend of yours, he showed me your video's after talking about it a few times!

Nice to stroll around for a couple of days 😊
@@SimsimsamTravels thanks, it’s on my bucket list esp. the rooftop bar. 😍🤩
So Amazing BGC Seriously man I’ve never been there since I went here in Dubai even the day I went Philippine for vacation 😂 but through your footage man like I feel walking around

New subscriber here in Cairo, Egypt originally from Davao City the Philippines. Enjoy your time guys in my beautiful country Philippines with a reasonable prices 4 everything. It's cheap and available everywhere. So enjoy guys. I'm watching you guys ordered a drink chocolate and of course have many flavours to choose and affordable price.
Haha, this is where part of my roots are from :) thank you, I do enjoy the Philippines 🙌🏾😊
Hopefully going to Davao very soon as well
In the summer, BGC is the hottest place (not figuratively but literally) to be in. Better off doing videos in the areas of Tagaytay or Rizal or if your time and budget allows, Baguio. BGC temperature is pretty hot all the time even when it's not summer.
Yes, it's concrete jungle. I just wanted to film there on those days 😊 bit thanks for the tips
I love how you respond to every comments on each of your videos ❤ Stay humble. God bless!

Thank you 😊 my tats are almost completely healed and I'm very happy with them
Stay safe and keep cool!
Good tip about the hot shower. I always take cold shower when in the PH. I’ll try that next time!
Don't go to hot, that's also not good. But a cold shower tricks the body and it will try to warm itself up after the shower ☝️ thank you ☺️
Enjoy the BGC VIBES BROTHER. I AM WATCHING FROM LOS ANGELES U.S.A
Thanks again ✌🏾😎
Simsimsam, after you visited the famous Tattoo lady,I wonder if you explored Baguio or the neighboring places like segada.
Yes, I've been to Sagada before and Baguio after :)
Thanks for taking me along

It's a nice place 😊
Sie lassen es sich ja richtig gut gehen Sir 😊🎉

Ah ok, thanks
There he got some "food from home" and a "Hefeweizen" :D. I always love the atmosphere at the weekend markets in the evening. It looks so charming and peaceful. I wish I could be there too, just to calm down and relax a bit. Anyway, thank you very much for another great video that has brought me many smiles and good feelings. I hope you stay safe and enjoy your trip. See you in the next video. ❤
Love the markets 😁 thanks Olli, new vlog is about to drop 🙌🏾
Nice nice, lets gooooo :D
You must head south of Luzon towards Bicol and explore the spicy region of the makestic perfect cone of Mayon Volcano and ride the ATV on the foot of the massive volcano and enjoy the foods and chili ice cream
Sounds so nice, but I already moved on again
Hi, great that you can bear the heat, but careful not to expose to too much heat😮😊
It's ok, better to get used to it than being in the air-conditioning all the time 😄
Full of varied info

I hope I can do what u are doing bro. Traveling solo and can spend whatever I want, to enjoy life. Take Care always brother! from Philippines!
Travelling solo, yes. Spend whatever I want, definitely not 😄 I don't want to create an illusion here. I'm not living like this every day. I'm staying in cheap places and eat locally most of the time. Thank you po
pahalata rakang inggit...hahaha😅😂
@@RosalieSaguran Im just being honest brother, I hope that I can do what he can do, not saying it in a bad or sacarstic way. :) And now what if I express my envy to him? I didn't say anything bad? what point are you talking about??
First!! Great Video My Friend! - Greetings Ban Kai
Congratulations 🎊 😁 thanks Ban Kai
Hefeweissbier looks refreshing. 😀

Thanks, but I already moved on 😊
This was a great video!
Thanks, appreciate it 😊👍🏾
Bro sam more fluids to cope up the el niño
I'm always staying hydrated 😊👍🏾
there's more places like this in Manila like Eastwood City, Rockwell, ASENA City, Alabang Filinvest and Makati!
So much to explore
Definitely drink a lot of water and even gatorade
Yeah, I always keep hydrated 💪 thanks
@41:08 i dont know how healthy is that? Why they need to spray the salmon tacos with Butane gas. What would be the chemical reaction into your food.😮
They do that in gourmet kitchens as well. Frying in Canola oil is probably 1000x worse 😄
Good morning Sam love from trinidad bro
Morning 😊 thank you
2nd, Hi Sam, one of your silent subs here from Phils
Hello there, thanks for watching Miguel 🙌🏾
Where did you find the white Pilipinas basketbal jersey!!?? 🤩 i was looking for it last year. And love watching your vlogs btw. Greetings from Netherlands. 😁
I got that one in El Nido, 1 white 1 blue 😁 dank je wel 🙌🏾
Dank je wel 😁 🙏🏼
And then i watched your vlog of going from Coron to El Nido and i see you buying it. 😂
Ich wusste gar nicht das du von Deutschland bist is ja cool
Haha liebe Grüße
❤❤❤❤❤❤ i love that i always see you eating! 🤣😂❤
Yes, I love it too. My belly and my shirts are not so impressed though 😅
Was a flight attendant and I miss the pretzel stands in Germany
So good 😋
Yes,it’s very expensive to eat at the restaurants in BGC,I would rather go to the restaurants outside BGC.
I usually eat local food for a fraction of the price 😁 those restaurants are the exception
You've unlocked the secret map of BGC.
Haha yeah, couldn't go their when I arrived in Manila, had to eat at 100 BBQ stalls to unlock this map 🙃
That’s the Manila American Cemetery.
Thanks, I didn't know at the time
@@SimsimsamTravels there’s the Philippine Heroes Cemetery just 9 minutes drive away south. That’s where Philippine presidents, Chief Justices, important cultural human treasures, World War 2 guerrilla leaders etc are buried. It’s like a poorer cousin to the Manila American Cemetery.

hey sam, i'll be going to the Philippines this july and I was wondering what is something you say is something that are must visits? I'm only staying for two weeks so not sure what I can do besides visiting family
That's a tough one, there are so many awesome places here. Depends what you are into. I think either Cebu or Palawan. Lots you can do there in 2 weeks + surrounding islands
Go to Tagaytay & Baguio. Anywhere else here is literal HELL with this extreme heat
❤❤❤
😊
are you using an insta360? lowlight performance isn't that good.
Dji action 4. Yes, I didn't switch the settings
@@SimsimsamTravels oh okay, but the stability is good though...keep up the videos!
Where did you stay in BGC and how much?
A bit outta town, BGC itself is quite expensive. I stayed at "OYO 858". Had a good private room, good for 2 for $12 a night. Only 15 minutes walk to BGC.
I forgot to ask you was it traffic on that weekend when was time for you to get back on your place? Did you take grab and how long it took to get back ?
Have you been to siargao?
Not yet, but soon 😊
I'm sure you'll enjoy the island. :)
Looking forward to it 😎
Hope to see you there, lol
brotzeit bgc is a german restaurant
I know Germans are very proud of their beer but how about your food? Is that something you take pride of too? I'm Filipino. I've eaten German food twice. First one was in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. Bergblick restaurant. Claims to be authentic but since it's in the province, the prices were really friendly and so may have played a part why I didn't enjoy it that much. Second time was at Brotzeit Alabang but we had it to go and ate it at home. I got taste their Pretzels too.
Both occasions, I found the food a bit bland and too simple for my lacking. My observation is, Germans seem to want chicken or pork or fish to still taste like what they are. Very simple cooking. Not too many flavor enhancements. Even the gravy I found a bit lacking in taste.
Am I correct with my assessments?
Hard to tell as I grew up with a very international cuisine. I also happen to like pretty much everything. I wouldn't make my assumption by a couple of german foods that you had in the Philippines 😄 I'm sure an Adobo place ran by Germans in Germany wouldn't be the real deal either. Also german foods are usually eaten homecooked, we usually have snacks, streetfood or international cuisine when we dine out. But I don't want to speak for the majority here 😁
That's nothing!
Today it's 110 in Miami
Maybe in the sun, in the shade you've got 32 degrees (90 Fahrenheit). It's definitely hotter here + the humidity makes it extreme. People working outside especially physically are really suffering. Also it's not a competition 😄
@@SimsimsamTravels 60% of the countries in the world are suffering from the heat wave. Don't make it a big deal.
😊..🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🎶🎶
