For the experience which you can never find in fancy buffets and fresh pick. Fresh seafoods are abit pricey similar here in Korea I also buy fresh seafood in seafood market and cook it there just like you did, It would be 150-200usd for 1 and buffet is just 30usd-50usd. Keep exploring the Philippines for the best experience.

Please visit Siquijor island, a neighboring of Cebu where you can experience the most laidback-Pacific islander life. It's very peaceful there with a nice beaches too.

Dampa is my family's go-to place for fresh seafoods. P2.5k to P3K for a kilo of live lobster is more than fair (always opt for the live ones despite their higher price. It's easier to find frozen lobsters in supermarkets and regular restaurants). Shrimps are way cheaper than prawns. Live prawns cost around P500 to 700 per kilo. Having them cooked at the restaurant is what makes dining at dampa expensive since they charge you per dish. Dampa is for big groups. Your meal could probably feed three people. P1.5k per person isnt that bad, considering that it's difficult to find good seafood in Metro Manila. As you travel farther down South to Aklan, Agusan, Surigao and Cagayan de Oro, you'll find the same fresh seafoods for a fraction of the price in Dampa (fresh oysters for 2 dollars!). For Manila folks, it's cheaper to eat at Dampa than to fly to Aklan.

Nice, thanks for the tips. Haha yeah, only problem is that I usually eat for 3-4 regular people 😂😂
The comments were very divided on the pricing, and the reviews also totally vary 🤷🏾‍♂️
But I've been suggested a lot to check the spiral buffet instead :)

Hope Fipinoes don't abuse foreigners when it comes to pricing of our goods, make it reasonable. It is our reflection of who we are.
Most of the times I'd rather go for a buffet restaurants serving seafood rather than paluto. You can maximize eating seafood in a buffer then in the paluto you don't even know if they are serving the right quantity of seafood you purchased.
How can we say LOVE PHILIPPINES if we are not loving those who visit our country and treat them fairly enough when it comes to pricing of goods and a better treatment as a tourist so they can spread words to others to visit us. Always take care and God bless Simsimsam 🙏😇❣️🫰

So, us here in Manila or N.C.R. if we want to eat cheaper price seafood we call our relatives from bulacan province so we can request to eat lots seafoods for cheaper prices if we visit them.

Hi Sam! You had a fairly descent meal though I must admit that those market people did charge an arm and a leg! It’s not a mistake on your part but just consider it as a learning process and part of your trip adventure. Yes, as one guy said, you could have gone and booked yourself to Spiral Buffet in Sofi Hotel, about few minutes from China Town and certainly could have gotten the most of out of your money. But if you still would want to try and eat st this Spiral buffet make sure to bring a humongous appetite, have a light breakfast, skip lunch but take a very very light snack and schedule your booking for dinner time! Reservation and paying them on line is your best bet and be there at least half an hour or even 1 hour earlier before they open! Last, ask the reservation if they are serving “Eat all you can Lobster” JUST TO MAKE SURE!!! Or else, you kinda defeat the purpose of you going to the best Buffet in Asia even if they have huge number of choices of International food but as a recommendation you just can’t go wrong if the buffet serve an all you can eat Lobster and of different versions! You must try and it will help your channel grow! I personally think that your viewers are so looking forward to this venture of yours!
I guarantee you that it will give you more subscribers! Make your vlog title catchy, like “MY BEST EVER FIRST CLASS BUFFET EXPERIENCE IN MANILA PHILIPPINES!!!” Remember to prepare yourself with a “HUGE APPETITE.” GOOD LUCK & ENJOY!
PS. Find out and ask if there is a dress code, reason for this it’s because it’s a 5 Star Hotel, you just never know. Don’t assume because you are a foreigner you would be exempted from their protocol, so I strongly suggest for you to find out all the things you need to know before paying. After all, this is a big buck you’re spending…
