Man! Much respect for the sheer effort and care with the crx. If you started selling ur cars I’d definitely have to get a car payment! Amazing work man, Thank you 👍🏻
Super video. Typing this with dirty hands as my JDM CR-X Si is getting a refurb. is I have learned so much from watching this. Even things like how useful a good electric bolt driver is. How to remove the bumper and trims. Keep it up
I had me a 1988 CRX Si. In 2002 a SUV ran a red light and T-boned me. Seriously bent the frame and the car was a write-off. I died a little inside that day.
So glad I found your channel! I had a silver 1988 CRX Si way back in 1996. It was my first manual transmission car and made me a Honda fan for life. I’ve owned 4 other Hondas after the CRX. I absolutely loved that car, so this brings back so many fond memories for me. All the best luck on the rest of the restoration!
You should keep that hood for your nice black CRX . You might need it when you drop that type-r swap in there . Nice progress keep those true gems alive
@@crxseth typical of the age... I have 1 hair line crack 8cm and the felt material on top of the dash has weathered.. Thinking of removing the while lot to refurbish..
Watching these videos really takes me back to my crx days
Love the hood just makes the front pop

Sad day. :(
When a new vid drops just in time for your lunch break 🙌
Perfect timing!
Excellent work as always... time and patience !
Love it, man! Gives me the road map for how my EF rebuild needs to go! Thanks, brother!
Looks good.
Your Rex’s are sik brother.✌🏼

Thanks for joining! Hope to keep chugging along on this build soon.
Made the dash take out look easy, alot of work bro. I would have threw a dash matt over that and called it gravy.
Man, this is a really good progress, just loved your video

That may be the plan.
you can un plug the dash harness from the fuse box and leave it attached. easier that way when re-installing too
Good info for next time!
Please more crx video keep up the great work 💪🏻
Next time when pulling a crx dash
Just unplug the wiring harness from the fuse box and take it out with the dash😁
Maybe I’ll do that on the other car.
@@crxseth much easier. 3 plugs in the fuse box and 1 ground wire with a 10mm bolt
Like those crx Tees
Mucho bonito!!
Do you know any of the dash will work with the wagon? Thanks in advance
I’m not sure. I’ve never dealt with a wagon.
did you use dish soap and water with the rag to wipe it down? i was going to use purple power but don’t want it to tear away the paint
It was just car soap and water. I wouldn’t hesitate to use purple power or something on the super dirty parts that will be covered anyway.
Doing the same thing on my 91 HF, outside with budget money.
Thank you for the video.. I'm abit nervous removing the dash... And then to refit it.. How was refitting it back like
I’ll let you know once I do. I’ll have a video before too long on reinstalling it.
@@crxseth thanks heaps man. Your knowledge is priceless. 👍

Will you link me to where you purchased the wall mount wheel storage?

Appreciate you taking the time to respond. I've got eight wheels and tires about to get off of the floor now.
Cheers mate
i wanted to know if you have any links for crx parts
Any chance you’d let go of the glovebox????
I’ll have an extra one that I’d sell if you need one.
@@crxseth Sorry for the late reply, but absolutely, I have been Looking for a black one to replace mine that’s broken
👍👍👍👍👍
Would be cool if you went to paint it and shocked your viewers with a color like Phoenix yellow or the blue from a 97 Civic Si
Now that’s a thought…
Or g59m Shannon grey
Why not make a car rotisserie to do the bottom work
I won’t be going that deep with the tear down.
@@crxseth sometimes even just to clean em it helps alot and they're very easy to make out of wood
Probably power wash it
