Bottling up the Elderflower Champagne

  • Now I’m happy with the flavour I’ll store the bottles in the fridge to slow the ferment down and take the explosive edge off 💣 😋
    The stages: 📕
    Brew your elderflower, pine or lemon slices, sugar and water for 2 weeks 🥂
    Strain through a fine sieve and bottle up 🍾
    Burp or degass daily to let the carbon dioxide out and prevent the bottles from exploding 💣
    After 7-10 days the elderflower champine should start to taste a little acidic and have a dryness to it 👅
    Once you're happy then store the bottles in the fridge or somewhere cool dark. Enjoy 😊
