Norm MACdonald as letterman says it, is my all time favorite, I re watch his stand up, and his late show clips, he's one of the best guest's on the Conan show and letterman, and his opening monologue at the espy's is classic norm, he was the type of guy that would say anything, just flat out hilarious. The fact that he never revealed that he was battling cancer fits him so well. He had a bit about a guy that had cancer and that in the end the cancer won, he said it was weird that the last thing they say about the guy is he lost his battle with cancer, so the last thing he did was lose and that they are calling him a loser, ( I definitely didn't do his joke justice but it's funny AF when he tells it) don't worry norm nobody thinks you're a loser, you were a stand up guy and someone that millions of people admired and loved.
