    Terrific video-thanks!
The red bar under the “dual motor” logo is for people who have (or want to pretend they have!) a Performance Model Y. That’s how Tesla subtly indicates which is which.
Again, many thanks-I’m going to order the kit and follow your instructions.

Ohhhh, performance has the underline. Makes sense. I kept mine legit. 😆

@@tims-garage Thank you for not putting the redline on it. I never understand why someone would want to "pretend" to have a specific trim level. Your video is well done. That adhesive under the dual motor badge takes a lot of elbow grease to get off. At least it did for me.

@@dburgette7577 thanks! Trying to keep it real and the red line would have not gone with my black out theme

Hi Tim from Spain! Thank you for your video, I just have a question, when washing your car do you take precautions with your black symbols? I mean not using high pressure washing or automatic washing trains.

I’m not crazy about the T logo on the hood. It changes the overall geometry. The arched space below the upper part of the T gets so narrow.

The red line is for the performance model, it comes with it. How are they holding up?

Thanks for not using the performance red underline to upbadge your car for no reason. It's so foolish that people do that, and everyone can still tell the difference. Lol 😂

With fishing line and abit of heat same way you do the the badges. You just would be careful to only lift the edge of the overlay and not the badge itself
