    Greetings from Aix-en-Provence France and thank you for great video content, I mostly agree with your comments especially the lack of a powered frunk. Having recently sold my 2022 model 3 standard range I am awaiting delivery of a standard range Model Y purely for the practicality of the Y. Having driven most of the offerings from the mainstream manufacturers I'm still drawn to Tesla in spite of it's little niggles. Once again thanks for your honest opinion as with lot's of videos on here I find myself thinking I am watching an advert for Tesla and so it's great to find a honest review so as to make a more informed decision especially for people in Europe as often the nearest Tesla centre can be 150 miles away, so not always easy to go try one out and so lot's of people turn to RUclips for the information they need.

    little hack with the garage door opener, remove the clip and put double sided tape on it then stick it on the back of the screen at the bottom. Super easy to reach under the screen and click the button by feel.

    Great video. Agree with you on almost every point. My MYLR is due in about 30 days. Can’t wait. Looking like I might miss out on the 2023 rumored powered frunk. Tesla should have already made the model year switch by now.

    Good material. As far as the climate control (fan speed slider)…you can just touch along the slider to change the speed. Once you get used to where to touch along the line, it’s much easier than sliding 😊

      No need for buttons. Push the right scroll wheel on the steering wheel, say increase/decrease temperature (up/down 1 degree) or say I’m hot/cold (down/up 3 degrees). Control fan speed, where it blows, front/rear defroster too, all by voice. Plus at least 50 other functions. No need to reach for anything or take your eyes off road. I love it.

    I just leave my climate on auto all the time...works great. I have to agree about the charge door....I have a hard time finding 10 things that I don't like about my Model Y. I use my frunk quite a bit for groceries...I like that I can pop it open when I'm still in the store and then just lift it up when I get to it. If power was important, I'd just get an aftermarket power lift kit for it. Also remember the price difference with the model Y and your S!

    Just got my MYLR and had the same problem with my phone not unlocking the car. Fortunately the car was in my driveway. This is a huge problem in bad weather away from the house. Or in a sketchy area. Extremely inconvenient and aggravating. Thanks for for tip to reboot the app and sign in. I will also carry a key card which I shouldn't have to.
    I also agree with all your other 9 issues. Tesla requires your fingerprints on the frunk, screen, AND the car door when you close it.
    Tesla definitely lacks luxury car quality. By a long shot. It just has cachet as a new tech.

    Would phantom break not just be caused by bugs hitting the sensors and the car thinks there’s an object in front of it…

    • @Myksgarage

      @@Myksgarage I guess someone needs to test out if phantom breaking occurs more during the day or at night. 🤣 could have someone drive In front of you and sprinkle confetti at you to simulate bugs, see if the car breaks. Get lasers and have someone shine them at the cars cameras while driving.

    tesla are EXTREMELY cheap cars. look at any other EV and compare the build and materials to a tesla. the Mach E destroys any tesla when it comes to materials and build quality. teslas have the build quality of a $10k car.

    • @twinflame2885
      @twinflame2885 Год назад +4

      yea that’s what is steering me from buying one currently im hoping by 2025 Quality Control is significantly better. people are arguing that the price point is because of how advanced the tech is but the tech isn’t even good and has drastic flaws! i’ll most likely settle for a hybrid honestly

    • @Myksgarage
      @Myksgarage  Год назад +3

      I haven't been in the Mach E, but yeah Tesla is lacking when it comes to materials and build quality

    • @USNEM
      @USNEM Год назад +2

      @@twinflame2885 teslas tech is not good. The only good thing they do is add an overpowered SOC for their interface so it's definitely smooth and fast. But all the safety systems are annoying as he'll, I'll be driving and out of nowhere the fucking car will scare the shit out of me saying I'm leaning on the lane for no fucking reason. Or it'll hit the brakes going 70 mph. Tesla has had shit build quality since it's inception. It's never been good, just look at a 2013 model S right now and look at the interior of that piece of junk. These cars are made to be thrown out and replaced.
      Teslas supercharger network is definitely great, but EA is catching up and they are actively upgrading the old cabinets with actual good and reliable stuff. I've enjoyed my Model 3 but I'll never buy another tesla again.
