#11 - Software Updates. Actually, my fave feature. The car keeps getting better. Not stuck with “got what you bought” like I have been with every other car I owned. AND, I have had 3 updates in the 7 weeks I owned it, adding significant features. Love your channel.
Picking up mine next week on 01 NOV. Super excited since I’ve been waiting since March. Glad you finally got yours, especially after all the crazy delays you experienced in the summer.
One of the best features you didn’t mention is being able to preset and adjust climate controls from your phone, including heated front/rear seats and heated steering wheel. The Tesla cams also recording everything will be very much useful if you ever get into an accident or if there is an event while parked.
@@Myksgarage I doubt it but my fingers are crossed. I've been looking at the Hanshow powered frunk kit. If Tesla doesnt OEM one Ill install the aftermarket one. A powered frunk is high on my list of must haves. While I am at it, I would also love to see Tesla not only heat the front seats but cool them as well. Pretty sure that one wont happen though.
@@Myksgarage Yes they are. Saw a recent vid on the powered frunk, installed correctly it seems to work well. However the guy was saying that others on his channel bought a kit, installed it and the bonnet didn’t close or open. He attributed that to the skill of the installation.
@Myks Garage Do you hear any boominess or have any ear pain in your model Y? There are several threads on the Tesla forum about it and curious if you have any of those issues?
I’ve found with Tesla, people who are against it have always heard 1 negative thing they find is a dealbreaker… out of 1.5million vehicles on the road. 😂 1.5 million vehicles, and 1 event for a random Joe will deter you from this Gem? I use superchargers quite often, and it just means less competition for them haha
You have a multi-plug charger in the under the slide compartment. Which on did you purchase? I like that it is under the sliding door and no mounted with the connections exposed...Any recommendations on which one to purchase would be helpful.
My video sensing map hardly shows anything. Pedestrians after I pass them on the side of the road. No oncoming traffic. And that is so different when I test drove one which showed so much. It's like my car is blinds except for cars in front of me
you didn't show the most important thing. the 2 seats in the back. meaning show us how they are when there are people sitting in the middle seats simultaneously with people sitting in the 2 child seats at the back.
The third row is a joke... shouldn't even be legal to say someone can sit back there unless you got midgets in there. You get an oversize iPad that control everything and other than that, looks like an interior with cheap materials...

Thats a good point! Thanks
I should get my MYLR in December. All I want for Xmas is a powered frunk.
Are they now doing a powered frunk?

I have a Model Y Long Range, and once you have one, particular in Long Range… you’ll never want to go back!
Yes!!
Exactly what I ordered. Should have it June 2023. Happy 50th🎉 to me!
@@janetfelder4536🎉🎉🎉 Is it everything you expected?

I haven't experienced any that

What an absolutely stunning car, wow. Thanks for flagging the things you don't like about it, and now the things that you do - great to have balance.
Absolutely! Thanks for the positive comment!

It's just the J1772 plug that comes with the car, I didn't have to buy that separately, but maybe now you do ?
Any regrets with the 7 seater? Is it worth having if you are not frequently using them?
No, we use it as I have 4 kids, I'm glad we have it as an option

It's a setting that you need to turn on, go into the auto pilot menu and select the full self driving preview option
@@Myksgarage ok. got it. thanks
Torn between 19” wheels or upgrading to 20”. Like the look of 20” but don’t want to compromise ride quality. Do you have an opinion on this?
I would go 19" and take the covers off and get the wheels powder coated black
i don't like the rear view look..why its so tiny to see the back
Yeah, I agree, but there is a nice big screen with the camera that really helps
Its FANTASTIC 🤣🤣🤣
🤷
No built in garage door opener? I thought those were pretty much standard on all vehicles nowadays.
Yeah it's weird!

I'll have to do that
It’s called a “frunk”

Yeah pretty much!
Don't slam the hood.
Okay
How smooth does it ride, tired of kidney shakers?
I think the ride is fine, could air suspension make it better, yes. But it's not horrible
It's a car!
Yes it is
Lol such a newbie
