ONE OF THE GREATEST ACTS IN COMEDY EVER LOVE THOSE GUYS
I have no words for the Comedic GENIUS of this😂😂😂😂😂😂😂He BECAME CARSON......and so quickly 😂😂😂😂😂Dick & Tommy were MY childhood❤. I remember my Parents laughing so wonderfully hard each Sunday night❤Thanks Tommy Smothers for making ALL OF US LAUGH❤🫶🏽🙏🏽🥰🥺
This is the first time I see this episode and I'm so glad I came across it. Tommy Smothers is absolutely hysterical imitating Johnny! He was PERFECT! And even after he sat down Johnny couldn't adjust his tie or tap a pencil or anything without Tommy doing the same thing lol. This one is truly THE BEST celebrity impersonation I have ever seen! And most definitely deserving of a rolling on the floor laughing my ass off! 😂😂🤣🤣
a time when you actually needed talent to be on television
Lol when Carson wasn’t able to adjust his tie near the end I was weezing Tommie got him
Love Johnny Carson💕👍🐾
I remember watching this when it aired and busting a gut when Tommy came out. Late Night Comedy Gods, I hope you're enjoying the reunion.
Never much of a Smothers Brothers fan, but Tom doing Johnny is hilarious 😂
Sorry. He was a legend. Ty
I would rather watch the Johnny Carson reruns, with people like the Smoth🎉ers brothers , than the present late nite shows.
You and me both Andy. Carson was better than the 3 of them put together, and they all think they are great. There has to be someone out there that can host a show better than those guys.
That is priceless! 😂
I’ve never seen it before.
Comedic geniuses, to tell us the whole skit, complete with punchline, and still come out and make us laugh so hard at it.
This kind of comedy is gone today.
Rest in peace sir. Now you can see your friend John Lennon again.
While I knew of all of them, I didn't watch the show every night, so I never saw this routine, so they got me good. I was wondering why are they going to the stage to do a 10-second bit. This whole scene with his impersonation and then the 2 of them doing the 'dog' routine, I was ROTFLMAO.
I also want to mention that the title had me confused, which I didn't understand until he did.
May he RIP.
p.s., wasn't that chevy chase there as well?
Wendy Liebman is a fine stand-up. I don't know about teams. There was a very promising one that broke up much too soon after doing an unforgettable Time Machine sketch.
T Smothers is one of a kind.
Carson's reaction to Tommy's impersonation was priceless. He couldn't even move without bursting our laughing at himself, as Tommy saw him.
I once waited on Dick Smothers. The Smothers Brothers were hilarious. Over 30 years later, I still miss Johnny. RIP Tom Smothers
It would have been cool if they were both in the restaurant and started "arguing" about their orders. :)
This caused me to look them up only to realize Tommy passed today. Sad.
Rest in peace Tommy Smothers. You and your brother always cracked me up.
