    ▬ About MDT ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
    MDT was born out of a single purpose: to provide better value and better accuracy for precision rifles. The first MDT chassis was developed from the ground up based on the needs of shooters.
    Our engineers verified every function and feature based on the input from competitive shooters. The end result was a game-changing product called the TAC21 that continues to perform at the range, in the field and in competitions around the world.
    Today, MDT chassis, magazines and accessories are still developed the same way.
    We collaborate, question and verify our concepts with precision shooters from around the globe to ensure that every MDT product is designed with the same single purpose: to provide our customers with the absolute best product possible.

    Jaw weld. That'll be interesting to see if that works. I'm cheek heavy with high risers but my tests have proven that's the best method for me.

    On the website the only action you can use on this chassis is a rem 700 sa. Is that correct or will there be more offerings for this chassis.

    Can this set up double as a hunting rifle? Would you recommend it?

    • @MDTTAC
      @MDTTAC  Месяц назад +1

      You could use it as a hunting rifle however, it would be a little heavy to pack through the bush, as long as you don't mind the extra weight

    What I have always been told is the stock length of pull the correct setting is to have it set so when you holding the pistol grip the same as you are shooting the rifle if you hold the rifle muzzle up and bend your arm at the elbow the correct LOP will have the stock set to where it just meets the crook of your arm with no extra pressure .
    Saying just to shorten the lop to its minimum defeats the stock or chassis from being a proper fit for a guy that is 6'5" with long arms and also the same chassis and stock being able to properly fit a guy 5'9 with much shorter arms.
    Just saying set the stock LOP as short as possible may fit you well but does not help someone else of a different build properly set up their rifle.

      Being a retired heavy equipment field mechanic and have been faced with this before, (leaving my riser at home), one might be surprised the variation of pressure with and without. I might say, doing without made me more aware of something small as too much pressure causing a slight shift in alignment at the rear. A test is, put head to comb just as at the shot, then slightly lift the head and come back to it. Once one lifts the head, if there is too much pressure, the sight picture may change due to shifting the rear of the stock. This is only what I've experienced.

    How can I match his setup with a ACC Elite when MDT can’t meet a release date? I was sold but just excuses on the hide from MDT for the release and zero explanation or hints. Love Francis and he has my upmost respect. I will say this is a failure on MDTs part. MPA got my money

      @@MDTTAC hopefully it’s a great launch for you all. I’ll be keeping an eye out on the firing line, seems like it will be a good chassis and I’d like to get hands on. No reason I can’t switch gears down the road.
