Magic trick revealed: (If you don't want to know how it is done, please don't read my comment) This is actually a pretty basic card trick to develop. There are a few things to keep in mind when you think about this trick. #1. Alexandra Duvivier already had the cards that were going to be face up picked out a head of time. #2. Alexandra never let Penn or Teller handle the deck until after the cards were scatter shuffled (Never in a neat deck). If you take those 2 things into consideration, you will come to the conclusion that there was something different about those 5 cards. From here it becomes easy to guess how she did the rest of the trick. All you have to do is take the Deck and with the rest of the cards face down and those 5 cards face up, and cut the sides of the deck to create a slight parallelogram ( \ \ ) with the deck of cards and then slightly round one of the corners so that you can figure out if the card is right side up or down. Without handling the entire deck stacked, you will never notice the cuts. All she is doing in the bag is flipping all the cards back so they all match the same direction of the cuts which will cause those 5 cards to be the opposite direction in a neatly stacked deck. I am not going to call Penn and Teller a liar and say that they knew what was going on, but this is Magic 101 type stuff that even people like me can figure out and I'm not a magician. I figure that they were letting it slide to promote women in magic which is a just cause as far as I'm concerned. However, if you look at her face when Penn started talking about rounding the corners of cards you could see in her face that she thought they knew.
I don't know why but the way she speaks it sounds very familiar as if I have personally known her or someone who speaks exactly like her or maybe she reminds me of some movie character. Very crazy stuff. Nice magic by the way.
The real magic was how good her English was for a French person. She even pronounced "hero" almost correctly (instead of "eero." Oh wait. I take it back. She just said, "I am so appy."
Nah. Kostya was staring at the cards and he used his "roadrunner cull" to separate them from each other (I have no idea how this works but it's supposed to be *extremely* difficult. I assume it involves slightly jogging all of the face up or all the face down cards as he's running through them.) But she didn't run through all the cards in this trick; she tossed them in by the handful without looking. So presumably this must involve either a cooler (palmed or with a crafty bag switch or something), or else some slight tactile alteration in the cards that not only lets her pick out the 5 special cards, but also lets her know what is face up vs. face down for all of them. (Or maybe something truly really bizarre like an assistant hiding under the table.) But regardless, I don't see how it can be visual in nature like Kostya's was.
@@drewbreesisontrtsoistombra1813 but how would they have had the other cards flipped the same way? It was 2 decks she had it in her hand while jinxing the bag I think
Ever seen the “fooled by a cookie” you can see him sneak in the cookie while patting down his mouth after he spits the milk back into his glass. They do miss things.
@@darthlucious1592 that was so ridiculously obvious man. I still can't believe they didn't catch that. I caught it my second watch through and I don't know ANYTHING about magic.
Obvious deck swap. See how she carefully folds the cloth afterwards? If she was a REAL good magician, and this was a truly great trick, and not a simple deck swap, she would have rung out the cloth bag after
When was the bag swap then? Not saying it didn't happen, but if it did I didn't catch it. (She had Penn check the bag at the start.) She may not have wrung out the bag to leave a seed of doubt in their mind as to whether she pulled off a bag switch. Or she just didn't think it necessary given Penn checked it at the start.
What a pathetic trick this is stage two magic learning notice how she picked the cars that we’re going to be revealed put them in a bag and then she pulled those cards out there is something with the cards all the other cards are probably a slight bit smaller so it is very easy to find the bigger cards and shuffle them in the deck They Musta let her win maybe because they felt sorry for her because she was a woman or a foreigner
this is so wholesome it hurts. really liked this bit
She’s so bubbly! Who couldn’t just help but go along with her! 😂

I love magic. I never learn the trick so it always amazing to me.

she's SO charming
It's hilarious that the trophy says, "F.U."

4:44 dud she just grab a card and fold it?
Unfolded. Teller accidentally put a crease in a card while shuffling.
Kostya kimlet variation same
Not even close. Kostya is using sight; she is using touch.
I have met you in Hogwarts? Do you remember me?❣️
yayy
4:43 SHE REEACHES OVER AND BENDS A CARD, TELLER LOOKS AT PENN LIKE SEROUSLY???
I believe it’s the opposite, they put a crease in it during the shuffle, she grabs it and bends it back straight
her hands fixing the cards was so suspicious but still don’t know how she did it lol
The same trick Kostya Kimlat did that also fooled them. I think it’s the same.

Two decks one was carefully hidden in folded up bag.
Or cards had some sort of mark
